Product Description

Dinovite for Cats

(90 Day Supply for a Cat )
NET WT.  1.75 pounds (800 gm)

Works Great!

Dinovite ® works great with any cat food - wet, dry or homemade. Our  combination of amino acids, fatty acids, zinc, vitamins, direct fed microbials and other nutrients that support a cat's immune system and body function.

Delicate Nutrients

The delicate nutrients, amino & fatty acids and zinc in Dinovite ® helps support good skin and shiny coat. As you know, a coarse brittle coat, excessive shedding and itchy skin are common signs of nutritional deficiencies. Things like zinc responsive dermatitis or a fatty acid deficiency show these signs.

Feeding Instructions

To introduce your cat to Dinovite start with 1/4 scoop. Sprinkle the 1/4 scoop of Dinovite on the bottom of the bowl and drizzle a little Lickochops on top, then pour your cat's food on top of the supplements. Do not mix. Let your cat eat the food down to the supplements for 1 to 2 weeks. When your cat starts to eat the supplements and is accustomed to the taste then start mixing.  Each scoop contains enough supplement to fortify 1/2 to 1 cup of cat food each day. There are 90 servings in each box. * Special Note: Make sure you add the Lickochops to your cat's diet for added Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids.

Ingredients

  • Spray-dried Chicken Liver Source of amino acids.
  • Egg Product - Source of amino acids.
  • Dried Kelp- Natural source of iodine and many trace minerals.
  • Yeast Culture- Live yeast that provide digestive enzymes and vitamins. Not to be confused with Candida yeast that causes yeast infections.
  • Dried yeast- Source of  digestible amino acids and B complex vitamins. Also referred to as nutritional yeast and not to be confused with brewer's yeast or "candida yeast" that causes yeast infections.
  • Fructooligosaccharide- A complex sugar that is a prebiotic. Fructooligosaccharide passes through the stomach then small intestine undigested. As it enters the large intestine it is available as food for the beneficial bacteria that live in the large intestine. The beneficial bacterial cultures can thus thrive and start to starve out the pathogenic yeast (Candida albicans) that cause yeast infections. *An important note: the yeast we put into our products is not the same species that causes yeast infections.
  • Zinc methionine complex- A highly digestible form of zinc. Zinc methionine is a zinc atom bound to a methionine amino acid molecule. Body cells love methionine so they readily absorb it and the zinc atom goes along for the ride. Zinc is an antioxidant mineral, essential for many vital enzymatic processes. Zinc is needed for a healthy reproductive and immune system, for tissue renewal, maintenance of the skin and for healthy bones and teeth. Zinc helps maintain the function of the liver and the release of vitamin A. Zinc is required for the development of the skeletal system, nervous system and for brain function. Methionine is an amino acid with antioxidant activity which assists detoxification. Methionine aids the metabolism of Omega-3 essential fatty acids.

  1. Cats not eating enough to tell yet

Posted by Mark Hudson on Aug 4th 2016

We have two rescue cats, Chance (1 yoa) is a grey tiger, possibly domestic long hair and he is healthy. Scotty (2 yoa) is what I have seen described as a shorthair “tuxedo” cat, and he has licked much of his back sides nearly bald. The shelter said that Scotty was fine when he was first captured but started licking during his stay at the shelter. Both have been given a clean bill of health by Vet. Scotty’s hair seemed stiff and brittle to me and if you look close his skin is white and flakey.
Of course the finicky eater is Scotty who I would like to have your product. He will not eat the Nubonubs Cat Treats, he literally runs away from Lickochops, and he eats down to the Dinovite for Cats and then will not touch his food until more is added or it is changed outright.
Chance has eaten a few of your Nubonubs Cat Treats, but not interested in them like others we have. Chance will eat the Lickchops plain, but not on anything esp. the Dinovite for cats which he eats occasionally if it is a small amount.
We have two dishes and they eat from both so I have (almost a month now) only added a small amount on the bottom of the dishes. When I have tried to increase the amount; no dice, neither of them want to eat it (canned or dry food.)
We started them out with Buffalo Blue foods, so hopefully this is good for them.
So is Scotty getting 1/4 of his serving? Maybe so, it could be my imagination but his hair seems to be softer now. I am not giving up, going to keep trying; your Dinovite will last 2 or 3X longer due to the small amount they are eating.

  2. Cats don't like ti!

Posted by Wendell Tidwell on Aug 4th 2016

My two cats; a tuxedo black and white male, and a ragdoll female that weere strays over ten years ago; they eat a balanced dry nine lives diet, but both readily accept small bits of table scraps (no too often!); but neither one of them will eat any of your product!!!!

Note from Dinovite: Please call, email or live chat with us, we can help your cats eat the Dinovite.

  3. Very healthy stuff!

Posted by Pam Stewart on Jul 28th 2016

My cats do not really like so I add lickochops to it. They are eating it and my little scratchy hair pulling girl has shown much improvement. Awesome stuff!

  4. This really helped my cat

Posted by Cathy Chapman on Jul 27th 2016

I have a cat who does not like any food, period. I had little hope for this product. But he likes it....he really likes it. His skin is clearing up and I can hide his flea pills in this food, because he really likes this in his food. Thanks, dinovite has saved his life!

  5. Get It For a Healthier Cat!

Posted by Donald Smith on Jul 22nd 2016

I have used Dinovite for cats for two different cat. My first, Elmyra lived almost 22 years, the last two with kidney disease. Just took in a two year old stray that weighed less than four pounds - started her on Dinovite right away. Sable is gaining weight, very active, and her coat is looking better every day.
    In Dinovite We Trust!

  6. Just Didn't Like It

Posted by Ann on Jul 21st 2016

I tried all kinds of way to get Boots to eat it. I first tried the way it tells you on the package. Then I tried to mix it with his wet food. He wouldn't eat it. I did this for a few weeks. SO if someone wants a box of Dinovite, let me know.

Note from Dinovite: Please cll, email or live chat with us we can help boots eat the Dinovite.

  7. Cats did not like

Posted by Carl Parker on Jul 6th 2016

After hearing all the advertising for this product I thought it would be great for our cats. Unfortunately neither cat would eat any more product after the first few bites.

Note from Dinovite: Don't give up on your cats, try starting with a tiny pinch at the bottom of your cat's food bowl, pour their food on top and do not mix. Feed like this for two weeks then slowly increase to the correct serving. Cats are notoriously finicky but this method works well.

  8. No more bald cat!!

Posted by Unknown on Jul 5th 2016

I have struggled for several years with my poor kitty cat being bald from the shoulder down. Numerous trips to the vet and only temporarily helped. Now that Snooker has been on Dynovite, his hair is growing back and the itching and chewing is almost gone!!! I was amazed!! Thank you Dynovite!!!

  9. Works

Posted by Bill on Jul 4th 2016

Our three cats took to it right from the start On the second box and they have never been healthier

  10. Great product

Posted by Linda on Jun 16th 2016

I bought dinovite for my 2 cats . They both have tested positive for feline leukemia. One cat does not have any symptoms but the other one was in terrible shape. We thought we were going to put him down but after the vet gave him an antibiotic shot he begin to improve . I have both cats on dinovite to support their immune systems. Both cats are thriving and their fur is so soft. I have no idea if the dinovite is helping but I am going to say it is because it is the only thing I am doing different . I plan on having these cats for a long time.

  11. Saved my cats life

Posted by Barbara Grove on Jun 11th 2016

My cat, Bodhi, had been suffering and unable to jump up on the sofa. I started her on DinoVite (I mix it into her wet food in the evening). The next year after we moved to TN she was chased by a gray fox up onto our deck where she was able to jump up on the rail, tear around to the other end and make a 5' leap up to the roof. I heard the noise and then heard a sound like a man tromping thru our leaves. Went out and saw a very robust gray fox heading up the stairs. I scared him off and then saw my cat on the roof. I had to get a ladder to get her down. But if not for the DinoVite I know she would not have been able to make that jump. So thank you! Oh, my cat is 16 y.o.

  12. Not working as I had hoped

Posted by Unknown on May 31st 2016

I bought this product for a stray cat we took in that has auto immune deficiency. I hoped the addition of this product might help with her outbreaks and maybe we could decrease or even eliminate the steroids she takes daily. Unfortunately, she develops constipation whenever I have fed it to her. I've tried it with and without the Lickochops. I have even tried mixing it with some pumpkin (which she will eat on occasion but now refuses the Dinovite totally. My other cat likes it just fine.

  13. My Cats are eating this! It works and here's how we did it...

Posted by Amp on May 19th 2016

Our rescue kitties had one problem after another. Once settled in, one started scratching with such intensity, she begin creating lesions all over her body. I took her to the vet and they couldn't diagnose it without expensive testing but suggested I try a grain free diet. I had heard about Dinovite for cats but after reading some of the review, I hesitated to buy it, given the expense (thinking they wouldn't eat it), but I was desperate. Initially they wouldn't touch their food. I mixed it at first and/or didn't do a good enough job hiding it, and they just wouldn't go for it. It takes some patience and "waiting it out." Then, we sprinkled a pinch at the bottom of their dish with a grain free food they would eat. Both cats were treated, since they share dishes back and forth. After a couple of weeks, we increased the serving. Now they eat all the way to the bottom of the dish including the Dinovite. We also sprinkle it over their hard food. They aren't up to a full serving, just yet as we are taking this slow. But the fantastic news...the skin lesions went away and the scratching is way less than it was. Thank you for this wonderful product. Well worth the money and cheaper than a pet dermatologist.

  14. Cat's--even feral--won't touch it

Posted by Kimberly Samuelson on May 19th 2016

I've got two indoor cats and I feed to ferals. I've tried Dinovite with all of them--and none seem to care for it. The ferals--who will eat anything--manage to eat around it so there's just the sandy substance left in the bowl. Cats are just way too fussy

  15. Cat loves it

Posted by Unknown on May 18th 2016

8 years old, a steady 13 lbs, loves Dinovite for Cats. Doesn't matter what dry food I try for her, she insists on adding the powder. She circles and stares until I sprinkle some Dinovite Powder and she digs in. The better part of a year and she has not gained or loss weight using Dinovite for Cats, She didn't have any issues, and hasn't developed any. I tried it for the nutritional benefit and 'just in case' but she loves it, 2nd time around. Maybe she's adicted. ut-oh

  16. Impressive Results So Far!

Posted by JJ Kennemer on May 17th 2016

We have 2 kitties, one will be 18 in August (Gabe) and the other one will be 10 in August (Francine.) Gabe had been scaring us with lots of vomiting and irregular BM's, lets just say. Since taking Dinovite, they both have a pep in their step, calm relaxed demeanor, and super shiny coats! We didn't think Francine could get any cuddlier! Thank you so much for making your product for our furry friends!

  17. Terrific Product!

Posted by Pat on May 6th 2016

My friend told me about Din-O-Vite. She heard it advertised on the radio and I then saw an ad on TV. I ordered this product for twelve year old Benson who had licked his tummy and legs to the skin. I started him on it by just putting some of it in a pile in the bottom of his dish. He immediately ate all the Din-O-Vite! I have six indoor cats so it isn't possible to feed all six of them the entire amount suggested. They eat dry food - one requires a special food. But I sprinkle some of the product on the top of their food in the morning and they all LOVE it. Ben gets the product twice a day. His coat has gotten very shiny and silky, his eyes are no longer weepy, and the hair on his tummy and legs has grown back. And he is now playful and spends more time with the rest of us. Thank you for returning my Benson to me!!

  18. Great Product

Posted by Margo Salatich on May 5th 2016

I bought Dinovite for cats after hearing a radio commercial. We have four girls and fortunately they'll all eat the same types of food. However, the two "exotics" tend to scratch and chew until they drive themselves crazy, the "mutts" don't have any issues. I started feeding per instructions and as expected, they didn't go for it but now the food bowl empties daily. I noticed fighting began between two of them that went on for a week and that's never happened before. One day I forgot to include the lickochops and the fighting stopped. I left it out since then and there's been no more fighting. I tried giving the chops on a spoon to lick off, but none them will have anything to do with it. Bottom line, the girls eat their food with a full scoop, and the chewing and scratching has stopped. Their happy and so am I!

  19. Dinovite for Cats

Posted by Faith Shoemaker on Apr 29th 2016

This is an outstanding product. My cat itches less and her fur is much healthier!

  20. Cats Not Sure About It

Posted by Debbie Hogan on Apr 26th 2016

I bought this because I have a cat that was scratching constantly. I had heard a lot of good things about this product. I'm forcing them to eat it on their dry food and sometimes wet food. He seems to be scratching less but I can't get him up to a full scoop a day. He is eating less and has lost weight, which is a good thing since he was overweight. I'm still feeding it to them and hoping they will learn to love it. May take longer to use the product up since they aren't too sure about it.

  21. Not kitty's favorite!

Posted by Rebecca Ashbaugh on Apr 23rd 2016

The Dinovite for dogs did AMAZING things for my kids with skin issues, so when my kitty began having some skin problems also, I knew I needed to get the Dinovite for cats. My "Mona" is a very picky eater, and not a fan of having something mixed in to her food. I tried sprinkling some on the bottom of her dish (to introduce it) but she refuses to eat the portion of her wet food that has touched the Dinovite powder.

  22. My cat never looked that good

Posted by Unknown on Apr 23rd 2016

Thank you so very much for your product out cat got rid of her mange his immune system is stronger and he is a happy healthy kitty thank you from our family to yours

  23. My kitten, Schwartz, loves Dinovite

Posted by Carole on Apr 22nd 2016

He manages to push the dry food aside to get to the bottom of his bowl where the Dinovite has settled. He's had no skin problems and I hope to keep it that way!

  24. My cat is not wild about it

Posted by Unknown on Apr 22nd 2016

I have tried mixing small amounts `1/8 tsp. of this with my cats food. e avoids it at first but if hungry enough may finish his plate later on. I have not tried the recipe as my cat does not like raw hamburger

  25. Cats- Not So Much

Posted by Robert Burke on Apr 21st 2016

My cats won't eat their regular meals with Dinovite in it, even though I used very little to begin with, as per instructions. I just wasted $49.99!!!!!!!!

Note fromDinovite: Please call, email or live chat with us because we can help you be successful using Dinovite.

  26. It works!

Posted by Vera on Apr 20th 2016

I'm adding it to raw homemade food. Took a while for them to get used to it but now they all eat everything. It's even getting them on the ideal weight.

  27. Loving it

Posted by Unknown on Apr 19th 2016

My two cats, females 3 and 5, really like it! Started by mixing it into a small amount of wet food. (I mix a little water with it.). Scabby skin, itching and licking, is so much better and pretty much down to normal behavior. (They did not have fleas!). They play with their toys again like kittens, and their coats are great. A friend who had not seen them for a few months said they looked like different kitties...that their coats were beautiful.

  28. works for our little one

Posted by Wolf Family on Apr 17th 2016

Our poor little rescue kitty had recovered from his parasites, but still was scratching, itching all day and so many bald spots. We tried just a little on the bottom of his food following the instructions on box. Lo and behold - he liked it! Wow...he was hooked from the first day. Week two - so far so good, his fur has grown back, bald spots are gone and best of all he is running around the house, happy and healthy just like the little kitty he should be! BTW - his brother also likes it and is doing well on dinovite for cats. Many thanks from our family. :-)

  29. Sickly stray with Feral with horrible hair loss....

Posted by Roy on Apr 15th 2016

My wife and I rescue and feed the ferals. Had one show up right after the big snow storm in N.Y. that looked like he had a horrible case of mange. Got him to eat about a half spoon of Dinovite for cats for 2-3 months, and I'll be if he didn't get all his hair back, and almost...LOOKED HUMAN! :)

  30. Cats coats shiny and soft

Posted by Eugenia Bunker on Apr 15th 2016

My cats coats are so soft and shiny even people who are visiting notice. I have cats of all ages and they are all doing great. Thanks dinovite.

  31. dinovite worked for Merlin

Posted by Unknown on Apr 11th 2016

Merlin, my orange castaway kitten had cytauxzoonosis (sp?)but did survive after a hospital stay. After that he was scratching himself constantly, even waking up to scratch. Having had good experience with dinovite for my dog several years ago, I ordered some (cat) for Merlin. It seems too good to be true, but with just a sprinkle a day for no more than two weeks that cat is no longer scratching more than what is normal. No doubt my other cats have benefitted from it as well. Really, It is so good to see this little cat who was so tormented now being so comfortable. Note: I put down 3 plates of food and the cats switch around to eat. I put maybe 1/8 tsp under the food to start and they all accepted it ok. They eat around it sometimes, sometimes lick it up. These are outside/inside cats.

  32. Major difference in behavior, but she still doesn't like it

Posted by Jack McClure on Apr 8th 2016

Prior to Dinovite, Marley had skin spots, patchy hair and no energy at all. Now, even at 1/4 scoop per day, her skin is clearing up, her fur is silky (she's part angora) and she's becoming more kittenish.

  33. My cat and Dinovite

Posted by Sandy on Mar 26th 2016

It took some getting used to but after 1 week my cat has accepted it mixed with his food at a reduced amount and his itching is much less and his hair is already growing back.

  34. Kitties don't like it

Posted by Jacqueline Correia on Mar 20th 2016

This has been a tough sell for my cats. They both dislike it. I have to sneak it into their food and I can't fool around. If any trace of it is discovered, their noses go up in the air and off they go. I will still give it to them cause I know it's so good for them......

  35. Works As Advertised

Posted by Paul Roberts on Mar 20th 2016

I heard the advertisements for Dinovite on the radio for dogs. From the testimonials it sounded as if this product would be the answers to our problems. When I learned they had a Dinovite product for cats, I didn't hesitate to place an order. My wife remain skeptical, thinking the product was some kind of "snake oil" and would need to see the results for herself. When the product arrived I began putting it in my cats meal in the morning. Over the course of the first two weeks, I noticed his spots had slowly gone away. There are just a few small spots on his belly now. Another thing I noticed is the cat's fur is much shinier and healthier than before and he has more energy than before. I mixed the Dinovite with the ca'ts food in the mornings and he eats it right away. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to other cat and dog owners.

  36. Cat Refuses after 2 Wks

Posted by Unknown on Mar 19th 2016

Cat ate first 1/4 teaspoon @ bottom of can on first day, and refused any food with product in it thereafter. Tried for 2 weeks, waste of money.

Note from Dinovite: Try starting with a tiny pinch on the bottom of your cats food bowl then pour the food on top and do not mix. Feed like this for 2 weeks then slowly increase to the full serving. This method works well, take your time and give your cat's tastes time to adjust.

  37. No noticeable results

Posted by Unknown on Mar 19th 2016

My cat had a skin problem, resulting in some hair loss and flaking of skin very similar to human dandruff. Dinovite has made no noticeable difference in his condition so I will not be buying it again.

  38. cats to old, will not touch it.

Posted by Unknown on Mar 17th 2016

They sniff at it and turn there nose up at it.

Note from Dinovite: Try starting with a tiny pinch on the bottom of their bowl and pour their food on top. Feed like this for 2 weeks then slowly increase to the full serving.

  39. Cat Wins I give up

Posted by skip trueblood on Mar 17th 2016

My maine coon refuses to eat anything I put this on in small amounts or anyway even tied capsule

Note from Dinovite: Don't give up, try starting with a tiny pinch on the bottom of your cat's food bowl and pour the food on top and do not mix. Feed like this then slowly increase to the full serving. This method works well.

  40. Cats Refuse

I have 5 cats, and not one of them will eat food that has this in it. I've cut back to 1/4 teaspoon per a can of catfood, but they still know it's there. It's useless for me.

Note from Dinovite: Start with a tiny pinch of Dinovite on the bottom of their food bowl, then pour their food on top and do not mix. Feed like this for 2 weeks then slowly increase to the full serving. This method works well.

  41. Cat Dinovite

Posted by Unknown on Mar 10th 2016

My five cats don't like it. I've tried lick o chops and they wouldn't even do more than smell it. I have since started mixing a little water and some can food to get them to eat it. I can only put about a fourth of what the need, more than that and they walk off.

  42. Cats HATE IT!

Posted by Unknown on Mar 9th 2016

Once again, I have tried every way possible to get my cats to ingest DinoVite. Cats are much more particular than dogs! They DO NOT LIKE

Note from Dinovite: Try a tiny pinch of Dinovite on the bottom of your cats food bowl, then pour the food on top and do not mix. Feed like this for 2 weeks then slowly increase to the full serving.

  43. Cats won't touch it

Posted by dee on Mar 9th 2016

Sadly my cats won't touch their food with the Dinovite.

Note from Dinovite: Try starting with a tiny pinch on the bottom of their food bowl, then pour their food on top and do not mix. Feed like this for 2 weeks then slowly increase to the correct serving. This method works well.

  44. Cat won't eat

Even when mixed in my cats' favorite food it won't eat it.

Note from Dinovite: Please call, email or live chat with us, we can turn this around without much trouble.

  45. Wonderful for my 17 year old Baby Boy

My 17 year old Beautiful Persian Boy has been doing so much better since He started Dinovite. He has a sensitive stomach and has been able to keep his food down and gain some weight. He plays again and his beautiful coat is shinny and full!

  46. Love this product

It seems to give my older cat, who is 12, energy. After eating food with Dinovite he runs and plays like a kitten.

  47. looking better

Posted by Wayne on Mar 2nd 2016

So far so good, it's been a few weeks and our 10 year old cat is looking better with fewer scabs and bumps. Should know more in a month or two more of eating Dinovite.

  48. Amazing Results!

    Posted by sherijoy83@hotmail.com on Feb 27th 2016

My cat is suffers and he scratches himself bloody and pulls out all his hair. Nothing worked to relieve his discomfort until a friend purchased Dinovite for Cats for him to try. Frankly, I was skeptical, but after the first month the results were obvious. We built him up to a full scoop with wet food (sometimes some warm water to help it be like gravy) and the Lick-o-chops as well. His coat filled in, he wasn't covered in raw bloody scratches, his personality returned, and he is so much happier! While it isn't a complete fix, (he still has the occasional raw spot or scab) the change is 100% remarkable. He is a new cat and we are so glad he is not suffering as he was. Wonderful product!

  49. All Four Love It

Posted by Jacque Foreman on Feb 26th 2016

We've been adding Dinovite to our Kitties' food since before Dinovite for Cats was available. It's a good source of vitamins, minerals and probiotics. As one-by-one our kitties go to kitty heaven and new ones are rotated in, they are automatically given Dinovite along with cottage cheese and kibble. We use the "dry" version.

  50. My Very Finicky Cat is Starting to Like It!

Posted by Debbie on Feb 25th 2016

My cat was diagnosed with extremely dry skin at the vets, and was cleared of fleas or mites, so that was not the problem. He was lethargic and pulling and biting constantly and not going outside but staying in his bed all day, miserable. The vet gave me Omega 3 capsules to squeeze onto his wet food, but didn't see much improvement until I started my cat on the Dinovite.
I started with a tiny pinch of the Dinovite for Cats, sprinkled on his wet food. Slowly, over several weeks, I am working my way up to a larger amount. I also have been squeezing the fish oil capsules my vet gave me over the food and mixing it thoroughly. Even though it is a small amount he is getting, I have seen improvement in his coat, his licking and biting, and his shedding. He even seems to have more energy now and goes outside several times a day, which is an improvement over never leaving his bed, except to eat and use the litter box.

  51. WON'T TOUCH IT!

Posted by Marlene on Feb 20th 2016

Don't know how to review it because my cat won't touch it! In the fairness of full disclosure, my cat is VERY picky .... won't eat any kind of people food or even cat treats .... only canned cat food (and dry when the canned food is all gone). I was hoping the Dinovite would help to improve his coat which has become dull and prone to tangles, but he won't go near it. I've tried to mix it in with the Dinovite, I've tried to start with very small amounts in the hopes of having him become acclimated to it .... but he just won't eat it if it's in, on or under his other food. I started off with just 1/4 tsp which is less than 10% of the normal portion. Will try the "almost-invisible pinch" I see recommended for others with similar problem. Dinovite: There must be SOMETHING you can do to improve the taste and thus the willingness to be eaten by all cats.

Note from Dinovite: Yes, try the tiny pinch on the bottom of the bowl because this works well. Cats are notoriously finicky, hang in there.

  52. Won't eat it!

Posted by Unknown on Feb 17th 2016

I have followed directions exactly, they just won't touch their food if even just a bit of this is at the bottom of the bowl. Even use tuna, people tuna! and the oil, which they LOVE, but won't touch it with this. I will keep trying and then probably take Dinovite up on their 100% guarantee or your money back!

Note from Dinovite: Please call, email or live chat with us some cats can be very resistant to change but we can turn this around without much trouble. Don't give up on your cats.

  53. itchy cat

Posted by Jenny on Feb 17th 2016

My cat was tearing his hair out, leaving large patches of red, itchy, inflamed skin exposed all over his body. I ditched the beef products (I think he had an allergy to beef after seeing his lips swell the day after eating it) but he was still grooming excessively. I gave him some dinovyte, which he ate straight (no food mixed in). He then tore into the baggie I used to coat his dry food with dinovyte (think shake and bake) and ate the remnants inside. In less than a week, he quit scratching and licking himself silly. His hair is growing bad nicely, though he doesn't have the same taste for the dynovite anymore (he refuses to eat it altogether now regardless of mixing or proportions) but I'm keeping it on hand since it helped so much.

  54. So far so good!

Posted by Unknown on Feb 15th 2016

My cat finally will eat her food with the Dinovite sprinkled in the bottom of the bowl. It took about 2 weeks. She has more energy but still scratches like crazy. Still trying to get fleas under control. Nomo Fleas spray not working yet. Will keep trying both.

  55. Cat refuses to eat

Posted by Unknown on Feb 14th 2016

Carefully followed instructions for several weeks. My 16 year old Siamese would walk away from his canned food even with a tiny bit on the bottom. Stopped trying to feed it. NMD of the ad ons supposed to make it palatable worked.

Note from Dinovite: Try starting with a tiny pinch on the bottom of the food bowl. Make sure the pinch is so small you can barely see it and pour the food on top and do not mix. This method works well.

  56. DineOVite For Cats Works

Posted by Unknown on Feb 12th 2016

We decided to order Dinovite For Cats because our male cat had become unable to keep his food down. He was on very expensive prescription food and because he could not keep it down he had lost several pounds. We stopped feeding him the expensive food and we were 'pulling our hair' out trying to get something for him to eat. I finally just started preparing cooked meat for him and that seemed to be working. Then we decided to try the Dineovite and lo and behold, BOTH of our cats seem to love it! They both eat almost all of their food right away. We think our cat is finally on the road to gaining his weight back. By the way, I mix it with warm water and then mix it all over their food. They love it!

  57. Tough to feed scoop daily

Posted by Unknown on Feb 7th 2016

It's been 2 months and I can't get my cats to finish the one scoop daily per cat. I have to feed them many smaller feedings and they still don't finish. Defeats the purpose, I've become a slave to their feedings. Not sure what my solution is, they like the taste, it's just the quantity that needs to be fed. Will stick out feeding them the whole bag no matter how long it takes. Too expensive.

  58. Dinovite is superb!

  59. So far the jury is out

Posted by Unknown on Feb 7th 2016

The Cat who we bought the product for likes the taste, but we haven't increased the serving yet beyond the beginning serving after 3 weeks because of his tummy getting upset. But it appears his skin issue may be clearing up. We can't decide if he is licking a spot on his belly because it hurts or if he is bored. But it seems like it is getting better. His partner kitty doesn't care for the taste and eats the food right down to the Dinovite powder and then walks away, but she has no health issues we are concerned about. Will keep working with it tho.

  60. Emily, my cat won't eat this

Posted by Sandra on Feb 7th 2016

I wanted to invest my in cat's nutrition intake and thought I could improve it by ordering Dinovite.. She won't go near her food when this is added. Now I am out fifty dollars.

Note from Dinovite: This can be turned around without much trouble, simply start with a tiny pinch on the bottom of their food bowl then pour their food on top and do not mix. Feed like this for 2 weeks then slowly increase to the correct serving. Make sure the pinch is so small you can barely see it. This method works well.

  61. BOTH CATS WONT TOUCH IT

Posted by GG on Feb 4th 2016

I have been trying to get my cats to eat this for weeks, did just as instructions said, and have wasted more cat food, because they wont touch it, and then they are begging me for food because they are hungry, then I got thinking, its alot of work when your busy running off to work to prepare this, DINOVITE, CANT YOU PLEASE MAKE A PILL, WOULD BE ALOT EASIER!!! for now I will look for a company who makes a pill, my poor cat is scratching his back legs off. PLEASE SPARE US THE HASSLE AND MAKE A PILL DYNOVITE , would be so much easier . The tom cat outside will eat it and hes getting bigger and stronger by the day.

Note from Dinovite: Try starting with a tiny pinch of Dinovite at the bottom of the food bowl, then pour the food on top and do not mix. Make sure the pinch is so small you can barely see it and feed like this for 2 weeks. You should not have to throw any food away with this method. This method works well.

  62. It didn't help

  63. OUT SIDE CATS LOVE IT!

Posted by Knuckles Mom on Feb 4th 2016

Of course my inside Cats do not like it, but when that is all they get, they will eat it. Outside cats do not care.
I sprinkle it in the bottom of their bowl and put the dry food on top and it gets ate. The one cat I mainly bought it for: his itchy scabby bumps has gone away. Now he does not have to go to the vet 3 times a year.
    Thank you!

  64. Finicky Cats

Posted by Unknown on Jan 29th 2016

My older boy cat (14) is eating it without much trouble, my girl cat (10) is putting up a fight. Mixed with wet food is the best. Started three weeks ago, they like it best on the bottom of the food, not mixed in. I will give it more time; cats tough, our dog, much easier especially with the lick o chops! Dogs ears are much improved! Thank you!

  65. My siamese loves it

Posted by Maggie on Jan 29th 2016

My cat is very picky about what she eats. when she tried it for the first time she loved it. I mixed it into her wet food and eats it all. She has a problem with her heals. She would lick until raw and bleeding. She is much better now and her coat is beautiful and soft. She is on her second box. Before Dinovite we were always taking her to the vet for this problem. The vet could not give us any solutions and it was costing us a fortune. Then we tried dinovite and we are all much happier!!!!!!

  66. My Cat Loves It

My cat is quite picky. However, as soon as I opened the package, my cat stuck his nose in the bag and started licking the powder. It has made his coat shiny and he has not been shedding. He is on a raw food only diet and I just sprinkle DinoVite on top of his food and he devours it.

NOW I give it to all 37 cats we have that we rescued, even some ferals that come for food in the back yard...If it cured my one little girl, it can't hurt ones that are OK to start with!

  76. Dinovite saved my cat!

Posted by Kerri on Jan 10th 2016

My cat suffered from pyrometra. She had her uterus taken out and after she was a mess. We tried everything with the vet, prescription food, antibiotics all worked for two weeks, then her stomach was a mess again. She was thin, her fur was dull, she had no energy and she had diarrhea . A friend of ours told us about Dinovite so we gave it a try. After about 6 months on it twice a day she is now healthier than ever and herself again! Lots of energy, shiny coat, and her stools are normal! No more diarrhea or stomach pain. Thank you for this wonderful product! I have my cat back!

  77. Great Product

Dinovite for cats is a wonderful product. All three of our cats love to eat it, and it has really reduced the amount of hair coming off our cats. One cat in particular was itching all the time and was miserable. After just a few weeks of Dinovite, she no longer scratches and her energy level has increased and she seems so much happier. Thank you Dinovite I will be ordering it on a regular basis.

  78. My cats hate it

She doesn't go crazy over it. Still hasn't affected her itching skin after three weeks. Disappointing.

Note from Dinovite: Its only been 3 weeks, give it time to work and help support your cat's good health. Feed it for the full90 days.

  80. Thankfully my cat has no thumbs

Note from Dinovite: Try starting off with just a pinch of Dinovite on the bottom of his bowl, then pour the food on top and do not mix. Feed like this for 2 weeks then slowly increase to the correct serving. This method works well.

I mix it all well so the liquid absorbs and the powder sticks to the individual nuggets. they eat it all and are remarkably healthy. Great product!

  91. Good product, just wish my cats liked it!

Posted by Mary on Dec 18th 2015

I discovered DV when I still had my cat Mr. Wee, who lived to be 17 before he succumbed to cancer. He was 15 at the time and was really slowing down and his fur was looking dull. Starting him on Dinovite gave him a whole new lease on life for a while. If I'd known about it when he was younger, he might have lived for much longer. I started the two cats I have now, Bobby and Ella , on DV the day I brought them home from the cat shelter. It's too bad that Mr. Wee didn't care for the taste of DV, and neither do Bobby and Ella. All I've ever been able to get down any of them is 1 teaspoon a day. Still, even just the 1 teaspoon a day makes a significant difference. Their eyes, mouths and ears look good, they have beautiful coats and are full of spunk and don't shed much at all.

  92. 4 weeks and not a bite.

Posted by Cathy on Dec 16th 2015

I was hopeful they would come around to this product, but even after 4 weeks, still not takers.

Note from Dinovite: Start off with a tiny pinch of Dinovite on the bottoms of your cats' food bowl, then pour the food on top and do not mix. Feed like this for 2 weeks, then slowly increase to the correct serving. This method works well.

  93. My cat has some spunk again

Posted by Hope on Dec 10th 2015

Since I have started him on the Dinovite, he has a lot more spunk. He still has issues with his condition, but he has put on a bit more weight, and his fur is growing much healthier. He and my 15 year old cat immediately began eating the powder off the plate. I introduced it to him as recommended, and he did put up a fuss the first couple feedings. Now he is up to two scoops a day mixed in with his wet food. My other indoor cats have also benefitted from the Dinovite since I started putting a scoop in all the kitties dry food. They are plump, soft, and playful. So playful that I will probably have to invest in a new kitty condo.

  94. Finally my cat has fur again!

Posted by Marleen C on Dec 8th 2015

This will be a long story as it has been a long and frustrating experience. For the past 3 years my indoor cat has been licking off the fur from his entire underbelly, bottom of hind feet, and back of legs. When this first started he was licking 24/7 with intermittent frenzied attacks racing all over the house with his fur moving up and down his back like an alien was inside. My veterinarian said this licking off the fur is called barbering, not harmful, but he's probably allergic to a protein in his food. So I began a diet of dry prescription food specially processed so that the protein is small to not cause an allergic reaction. Prior to this he was fed a varied diet of high protein, high end brands of wet foods only. Once on the dry prescription food in time his fur grew back. The point of this diet is to then start him back on one protein of his previous food to see if he reacts to determine what is causing the allergy. I started with fish and within two weeks he was a licking maniac, and bald again. Since then I have kept him on the prescription diet where he has stayed bald with only a thin layer of fur in those areas, but not licking 24/7, and with only an occasional frenzied attack.
I was hesitate to try the Dinovite worried an ingredient in that might set him back to the frenzied miserable stage again. My husband said what do you have to lose so I ordered it 7 weeks ago. Starting about two weeks ago his fur started to grow back in, I was shocked! It's not completely back, but all the bald areas are covered with thicker fur. He's totally calm, licking like a normal cat, and his fur is softer than it was before. My other cat always had soft fur, but she has been eating it as well, and now her fur is more shiny. Needless to say, I'm holding my breath this will continue, but so far so good. Since the Lick o Chops has fish oil I haven't tried that yet, taking baby steps here, but at this point I'm thrilled.
Fortunately I work from home so I'm able to continually put a thin layer of the dried prescription food on top of a 1/3 serving of Dinovite so they lick the Dinovite along with the food. I haven't worked up to a full scoop totally mixing it with the dry as neither cat seem interested when it's completely mixed together.
Thank you Dinovite, as I look over at my cat enjoying a lick free nap I feel I'm finally on the right path.

  95. Work in progress

Posted by Carol on Dec 3rd 2015

We have a clinic cat that arrived 2 years ago. He is very laid back, probably 16 to 18 years old and has a very sensitive digestion, gum problems and itches and pulls his fur.
He likes the Dinovite very much, but as we increased the serving he started to have diarrhea. We cut back to about 1/3 of a scoop and that seems to be working. Vet says it take 3 to 4 weeks to see a difference so we are just watching and hoping.
He likes the dinovite even without the liken chops. Will give it a final rating when we see if it works.

  96. What a difference!!!

Posted by Eileen on Dec 1st 2015

My cat suffered from itchy skin and we could not find anything to help her until we got Dinovite. We use it along with Lickochops, fermented fish oil and a small amount of himalayan sea salt. The addition of the sea salt seems to have her totally in balance. Before Dinovite our cat was a mess - always scratching herself and bleeding. The poor thing lived with a cone on her head to keep her from tearing herself apart. We are all so much happier now!

  97. No Way!

Posted by Ann on Nov 26th 2015

My cat will eat her food when Dinovite is added if she is hungry enough. Otherwise, she has not interest in the product. The other cat, who usually tries to eat my cat's food, won't come near the food when Dinovite is on top. I have found, through persistence, that it is a good product for my cat, but not good enough if she won't consume it.

Note from Dinovite: Try starting with a pinch of Dinovite on the bottom of your cat's food bowl then pour her food on top and do not mix. Feed her food like this for 2 weeks, then slowly increase to the correct serving. Cats are notoriously resistant to change but this method works well.

  98. Solved her problem

Best thing EVER. One of my cats is 2 and had been suffering from something that made him itchy constantly to the point where he was losing hair and had a ring of scabs around his neck. The vet tried many other things but nothing worked. I have been trying since March to find something to help him. I bought dinovite in October and I'm telling you, it's a miracle. He rarely itches, his skin and fur are beautiful and smooth and he's much happier all around. I'm so so happy I bought this. I give it to my 7 month old kitten and he loves it as well. They took to it very easily especially when adding the Lick o chops. Would recommend this 1000%. It took about a week or so to see the effects but as long as you are consistent with giving it to the animal it will work great.

  100. Dinovite Review

It took about 2 weeks before my cat would really eat her food. At first she would not eat it, then just pick at it. However, I was consistent and finally after 2 weeks she does eat it with her food. But, there is still quite a bit left on the bottom of her bowl. Her shedding has greatly diminished, which is what I wanted to see happen. As long as there are no side effects, I'm happy and she appears to be happy as well! She did not like the liquid stuff at all so I'm not using it. Maybe later on I might introduce it to her. She doesn't care for the smacks.
