Ingredients

  • Ground Flax Seed -Source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Fatty acids support  skin function. Ground flax also contains phytonutrients and fiber that help support your dog's good body function.
  • Dried kelp- Natural source of iodine and many trace minerals.
  • Yeast Culture- Live  yeast that provide digestive enzymes and vitamins. Not to be confused with Candida yeast that causes yeast infections.
  • Dried yeast- Source of  digestible amino acids and B complex vitamins. Also referred to as nutritional yeast and not to be confused with brewer's yeast or "candida yeast" that causes yeast infections.
  • Ground Grain Sorghum- Natural  antioxidant.
  • Fructooligosaccharide- A complex sugar that is a prebiotic. Fructooligosaccharide passes through the stomach then small intestine undigested. As it enters the large intestine it is available as food for the beneficial bacteria that live in the large intestine. The beneficial bacterial cultures can thus thrive and start to starve out the pathogenic yeast (Candida albicans) that cause yeast infections. *An important note: the yeast we put into our products is not the same species that causes yeast infections.
  • Zinc methionine complex- A highly digestible form of zinc. Zinc methionine is a zinc atom bound to a methionine amino acid molecule. Body cells love methionine so they readily absorb it and the zinc atom goes along for the ride. Zinc is an antioxidant mineral, essential for many vital enzymatic processes. Zinc is needed for a functioning reproductive and immune system, for tissue renewal, maintenance of the skin and for healthy bones and teeth. Zinc helps support the function of the liver and the release of vitamin A. Zinc is required for the development of the skeletal system, nervous system and for brain function. Methionine is an amino acid with antioxidant activity which assists detoxification. Methionine aids the metabolism of Omega-3 essential fatty acids.
  • Alfalfa nutrient concentrate-Take everything good about alfalfa and condense it, like one giant super vegetable!
  • Aspergillus oryzae fermentation product dehydrated- Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Aspergillus niger fermentation product dehydrated-Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product dehydrated-Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Lactobacillus casei fermentation product dehydrated- Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Bifidobacterium thermophilum fermentation product dehydrated- Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Enterococcus faecium fermentation product dehydrated-Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.

Small Dogs:

We consider a small dog a toy breed like Chihuahuas. Each scoop contains enough supplement to fortify 1/2 to 1 cup of dog food each day. There are 90 servings in each box.

Special Note:

If your dog is large for his breed, overweight or is in-between small and medium then purchase the 90 day supply for a "Medium Dog". 1. Amazed!

Posted by Unknown on Sep 28th 2015

My yorkie has almost completely stopped scratching/licking in about 2 weeks of taking the dinovite. Her skin looks so much better. I am so very pleased. She loves the taste and that makes it that much easier to give.

  2. Many months of Dinovite have improved excessive licking and coat growth

Posted by Linda C. on Sep 28th 2015

I do think the supplement is gradually helping my Boston Terrier lose the reddish color to her feet (from excessive licking) and grow a little more hair in her sparse coat. She eats Dinovite in her food without any problems.

  3. Not Sure Yet

Posted by Unknown on Sep 27th 2015

I purchased Dinovite in response to radio commercials and the fact that my dog itches and licks his feet too often. I have been putting it in his food as directed for about 4 weeks now and unfortunately can not tell any difference in the itching. According to emails sent by the company, he may be still going through a "purging" period. We will see. I intend to complete the 90 day cycle. If there is no significant difference at that time, I will not re-order. I sincerely hope this product lives up to its claims.

  4. Love it

Posted by Mike on Sep 27th 2015

Before we stated our dog on DinOvite his hair had fallen out from scratching and biting himself. Now he a is healthy and happy dog again

  5. My fussy Yorkie boys love their new diet.

Posted by Mary on Sep 25th 2015

I started DinoVite as a supplement and they ate just fine. Then I saw the raw food video and changed them to this diet. Their itching constantly stopped shortly after the diet change. They eat in a flash, and then run to get their Nub O Nubs.

  6. It Works!

Posted by Unknown on Sep 24th 2015

It works! When I stopped using it, my dog started itching again. I would give it five stars if it worked immediately. I also tried the fish oil. If you love you pet and your sleep, its worth it.

  7. WOW

Posted by Rosie on Sep 23rd 2015

My 4-month-old puppy loves this..I am now making his food using the recipe that Dinovite provided..His coat is so shiny, he just looks great and I am very pleased..I know what he is eating, it's fresh, and what is in it..

  8. I love it...

Posted by Susan Shipley on Sep 23rd 2015

...and so do my dogs! Gizmo had skin problems and they are all gone! No more scratching until he bleeds. He's no longer in misery all the time.
The only thing I do not like is the cost of shipping.

  9. Good Product

Posted by Sylvia Moffett on Sep 21st 2015

I have noticed better skin and coats.

  10. Didn't work

Posted by Unknown on Sep 21st 2015

I've tried everything. Hoping this would work. She's still scratching and biting her feet.

  11. Can't sneak it past either

Posted by Victoria Wiwi on Sep 20th 2015

Note from Dinovite: Please call or email us we can help.

  12. Incredible

Posted by Michele on Sep 20th 2015

Our boy I'd a mastiff. He will be 14 this December. He was slowing down with little vitality. A stranger asked about Moe and told me about Dinovite. Anything for our guy, so I ordered it immediately. It's over a year now and although he is of course a very old dog, he moves well, can still get into our truck with a little help, and is still my happy sweet boy. I truly believe Dinovite has given Moe happier, healthier remaining years.
When people stop me and ask about my big old dog, I always say "especially if you have a senior dog and you love them get on the Internet and buy Dinovite ".

  13. Made my dog itch

Posted by Unknown on Sep 19th 2015

I have been feeding Dinovite to my dog for several weeks now and my dog developed an anal gland infection and became very itchy. It doesn't work for my dog.

  14. Dogtastic supplements for your loved ones

Posted by mike on Sep 18th 2015

My boys, Otis leroy and Vern La vern are inside/outside dogs. They chew, roll and, chomp on whatever they find. This causes scratching, chewing, stinky, etc. Many trips to vet. That just made them more unhappy. Then comes Dinovite to the rescue!! Within a day there was a marked improvement. Within a week, no stink, bumps or bad attitude. It not only smells nice in the house, it is also quiet. No more, VERN, STOP CHEWING!!!!!! Thanks.

  15. Don't know yet

Posted by Ursula on Sep 17th 2015

It's still too soon to know if the Dinovite is doing her any good yet.I'm feeding her the raw diet as per your recipe and she really enjoys it.It'll still take some time to see how it does as far as her health is concerned.I tried to leave a review about the fish oil but can't in good conscience leave any stars as to it's performance since my little girl refuses it.So we are using the LickOchops instead which she loves.I may try the fish oil again since it's too expensive to just let it sit there.

  16. Bella is a satisfied customer

Posted by Unknown on Sep 16th 2015

This reduces the shedding across my Italian Greyhounds back. Love it!

  17. HAPPY DOG

Posted by Max the Dog on Sep 13th 2015

My dog has not beenThis healthy and happy in the five years that I've had him thank you so much

  18. Shebe and Dolly Love it

Posted by Arthur on Sep 11th 2015

Like others I was worried that my dogs would not like the Dinovite taste. But just the opposite happened. I feed my dogs a little boiled chicken, add raw pieces of meat, 1 hard boiled egg w/ the shell, add a scoop of the Dinovite, along with Supromega fish oil, and I tsp. extra virgin olive oil, and WOW they love it! They keep licking their bowl clean. Their fur is shinny, and they have so much playful energy. They itch less, and have nice breath. Thank you Dinovite!

  19. Changed

Posted by Diane on Sep 10th 2015

This product has changed my dogs licking habits, scratching and his coat is softer.

  20. Best ever

Posted by debra on Sep 10th 2015

I have been using dinovite for awhile now, i used it with all of my pitbulls and now i have a french bulldog and it works great, thank you for such a great product.

  21. healthy coat

Posted by Unknown on Sep 10th 2015

    reduces itching and scratching

  22. I'm a believer. Thanks, Dinovite!

Posted by John on Sep 9th 2015

Our dachshund was covered in small spots and was losing her beautiful long hair. She actually had bald spots on her back and stomach from biting and scratching. Two months on Dinovite and her skin is completely clear, her hair is as soft as when she was a puppy, and no more biting and scratching. I'm a believer! Thanks, Dinovite.

  23. Mandatory for sanity

Posted by Unknown on Sep 9th 2015

We have a long-hair chihuahua with extremely sensitive skin. If she goes even a couple days without Dinovite, she is scratching constantly, which drives me nuts. I don't know why it drives me crazy, but it does. I wish I didn't have to buy Dinovite, with the price and ridiculous shipping costs. But I suck it up, for the dog and me. Also, the cat eats the dog's food when there is Dinovite on it...very odd.

  24. Doggy loves Dinovite

Posted by Unknown on Sep 9th 2015

Dinovite promotes very consistent poops and has helped with gunky ears too.

  25. Don't like it

Posted by Unknown on Sep 8th 2015

‚ÄčI have 2 Pekingese a Shiatsu and a Mastiff. None of my dogs will eat it. They smell it and walk away.

Note from Dinovite: Please call or email us, we can help.

  26. Eats all her food

Posted by Barbara on Sep 5th 2015

Mylie used to take about 2 days to pick through her food, but with the Dinovite & Lickochops, she gobbles it all up at one sitting.

  27. My Yorkies love this stuff!

Posted by Lisa on Sep 5th 2015

Dinovites seems to make my dogs feel great, with one exception: itching! My 2 beloved Yorkies, Mrs. Bob and Stubby, have been eating Dinovites with their meals for about 3 weeks now, and although we have not seen much new hair growth and they still scratch as much as they ever did, I am glad that they are getting their vitamins. We also mix the fish oil and the Lik'O'Chops gravy with their food, and they seem to really like it. Our poor little dogs have struggled with itching and digging and biting for years. It isn't fleas and, if the fact that they are still itchy is any indication, it isn't vitamin deficiency either. They have been to the vet many times, had blood and urine tests on multiple occasions, and still no clue as to why they are so darn itchy. The only thing that gives them temporary relief is steroids and antibiotics, and I am apprehensive about giving them too much medication. However, they do love the Dinovites, and their happiness is what matters. :)

Note from Dinovite: Hang in there, it can take the full 90 days.

  28. Awesome Stuff!

Posted by Nancy E Driscole on Sep 5th 2015

Dynovite has helped my dog's itching problem. I also give it to a second dog just so his coat looks shiny.

  29. Dogs Love It

Posted by Ruth on Sep 3rd 2015

My finikie little dogs love this product. I sprinkle it on their regular wet and dry food. One of my pups is 7 yrs old and she has renewed energy and playfulness. My younger pup also love this as well. I am hoping the formula helps with the itchy skin.

  30. My picky eater loves this

Posted by Carol Winicur on Sep 3rd 2015

I am still working on converting my dog to an all home cooked beef and egg diet, using DinOvite and LickOchops. It seems that we are on the right track for her, except I had to exclude the rice because she is allergic to white rice. Our dog loves theDinoVite with the LickOchops, and feeding her now is so easy.

  31. Not too happy

Posted by Unknown on Sep 3rd 2015

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be working with my dog. We have had this for a while and the itching has never stopped. He may just be beyond Dinovite help, but still using it just in case

  32. Small dog Dinovite

Posted by Unknown on Sep 3rd 2015

My dog, Jenny, has been on this product for 1 year now and her hair looks the best it has looked in many years. It is shiny and you would never know she is 13 years old by the way she looks and acts. I recommend it to everyone. The only improvement might be the taste. She doesn't get excited about it like she does the Nubonubs Treats.

  33. The jury is still out.

Posted by Unknown on Sep 2nd 2015

It has been a month since I started my chihuahua and chiweenie on this product. The chihuahua had extreme gastric distress after introducing the product in her food, so now I am just putting a "dusting" on her kibble after a month.

The chiweenie would eat human excrement if he found it so, needless to say, he had no problem eating food augmented by Dinovite. He is up to the full recommended serving.

As for results, I have not seen much of a change. The chiweenie has had a skin issue on his hindquarters for two months now and it is still there. The Chihuahua ha been chewing on her feet for years and she is still doing it. Perhaps their enrgy has increased, but that is a highly subjective observation and perhaps I have been prejudiced by Dinovite's claims.

My next step is to change their food which has a decent rating for contents. I'm not quite ready for the "make your own" tactic.

So far I have to say that it has done no harm.

  34. Jury still out

Posted by tom on Sep 2nd 2015

Dogs were chewing their paws, doing it less with Dinovite but still doing it so the jury is still out on this one

  35. ITS good for my dogs

Posted by louis on Sep 2nd 2015

    They love it

  36. Product works; have patience

Posted by Angie on Aug 31st 2015

My chihuahua started digging at his backside so much he was chewing his hair out. Our bug man told us about dynovite, and swore by it, so I ordered it. It does take the full 3 months for it to be truly noticable, but it does work. I ran out one time between jobs and couldn't afford to get it, so he was off of it for a couple of months, and started digging again. When I was able to get more, I had to start over and wait 3 months again, and now he's back to normal again :)

  37. Totally transform your dogs health

Posted by Unknown on Aug 31st 2015

This stuff saved my dogs life. He stunk and was yeasty. I didn't realize it was yeast until i noticed he was cleared up and I did some research. His breath no longer stinks. I Wiuld not have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. Thank you!

  38. My 2 Dogs Are Dynamos!

    Posted by D.T. on Aug 30th 2015

My 10 yr. old Yorkie mix dog ran to fetch a ball at the dog park today for a solid hour and was asking for more when we went home. His little sister, a Maltipoo, is less of an athlete but she is full of energy.

  39. Yuck

Posted by Unknown on Aug 29th 2015

Mr Wiggles (our 15 lb. dachshund) has to be starving before he will eat this stuff!

Note from Dinovite: Please call or email us we can help Mr. Wiggles eat the Dinovite:)

  40. Our Dog is Healthy Again

Posted by Bob Giordano on Aug 29th 2015

Our Westie was suffering from itchy skin and a dry coat. We tried everything and nothing worked until I ordered Dinovite. His itching is gone and his coat is soft and silky. Great product.

  41. A little less itching

Posted by Unknown on Aug 27th 2015

It does seem to be helping with my dog's itching.

  42. No change

Posted by Unknown on Aug 26th 2015

After 30 days on dynamite I see no change in my dogs itching problem. He has lost a little weight but still itching. I will continue on with dynovite through my 90 day supply. Hopefully it will kick in and help.

  43. Dog does not like it!

Posted by Wil on Aug 26th 2015

Have been using it for almost three weeks. The dog does not like the item. Need to mix it with gravy for him to even consider to eat eat the dog food. Do't see any improvement in the dog's coat or activity. I will not re-order.

Note from Dinovite: Please call or email us we can help. Also, make sure you open the emails we are sending you because they contain much helpful information. Hang in there you are only 3 weeks into feeding Dinovite.

  44. Dog wont' touch it!

Posted by Unknown on Aug 26th 2015

My small dog, less than 10 pounds, won't go near her food when even the smallest amount of DinoVite is in it. Very disappointing.

Note from Dinovite: Please call or email us we can help your dog accept Dinovite in her food.

  45. Messy

Posted by Unknown on Aug 25th 2015

My dog has licked her paws and scratched for years. We are really hoping for some relief from these behaviors with the dinovite. We have had it now for a couple months, but it is so messy and the worst packaging. She cannot have the liquid version due to the very high fat content, so we are just trying to make it work. We have thrown out the box, bag, and twist tie thing moving the product to an easy to open and access canister.

  46. Love this supplement!

Posted by Cupcake's Mom on Aug 23rd 2015

So glad I found this product to add to the chicken and beef food I prepare for my little one. The transition was great thanks to their directions. Good to know I can add the necessary nutrients.

  47. amazing results

Posted by curt p. on Aug 22nd 2015

we have a small army of dogs, 11 min pins and one chihuahua. our smallest min pin, for no apparent reason, began losing her hair. first just in one small spot, then in large patches progressing to about 3/4 of her hair. she was sluggish and visibly uncomfortable. my wife took her to the vet for tests several times without any conclusive answers. they did test her blood and found no parasites, mange, etc. i remember hearing the dinovite radio commercials. i suggested we order your product. my wife was skeptical but i ordered anyway. we started her on dinovite the end of june-beginning of july. the first three weeks went by with no results. my wife was giving up, but i persisted. i followed the recommended serving size and kept the faith. five weeks in it appeared her hair was slowly filling in. today, it's 7 weeks in and about 90 % of her hair is back and she is visibly feeling better. amazing product that really works. thanks dinovite..........

  48. Dinovite is dynamite!

Posted by Unknown on Aug 21st 2015

I have a chihuahua that 3 years ago was diagnosed with distemper and we were told she needed to be put down. Because of that, we pretty much let her eat whatever she wanted, and she put on a great deal of weight. She is still with us, but is still heavy and was shedding like crazy, and that is the main reason that I purchased the Dinovite. She has only been on it for about a month, but we have already noticed a difference in the shedding. My hope is that the shedding gets much better and that she gets a little more energy so that we can get the weight off.

  49. Our Doxies Love Dinovite

We have been using Dinovite for about 2 years. Our youngest dachshund had spots and itching issues but because of some other medical issues, I did not want to take him to the vet for steroids. We tried Dinovite. No skin issues since we started using it!

  51. Last hope

Posted by Anne S. on Aug 20th 2015

This is the 2nd positive product review I've ever written. My foster MinPin, Knox, (5-6 yrs old) came in to rescue with horrible skin issues. He's been itching himself raw, likely due to a systemic yeast infection. It had gotten so bad I was beginning to question his quality of life. I bought Dinovite for Small Dogs, to add to his raw diet, as a last hope. Within 24 hours THE ITCHING STOPPED!!! Within 48 hours, his true personality started to emerge. He's still the sweetest boy ever, but since he feels better, he no longer lays in bed most of the day. He's social, seeking attention and has some spunk. He's been un-adoptable because of his poor health/unresolved skin issues.

The red bumps? Gone. The incessant scratching? Gone. The gurgling tummy and belching? Gone.

Back is my sweet, gentle, OUTGOING, sassy MinPin! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! I never expected Dinovite & LickOChops to work this well, let alone THIS FAST!!! We are thrilled with this product. If I decide to let him get adopted I'm writing in the contract that he must be fed Dinovite!!!

  52. No Change!

Posted by Patty on Aug 19th 2015

I can't rate the Dinovite fairly since it has not worked at all so far.
I'm sure it works for other dogs and maybe it will work for mine but so far it hasn't. I will continue giving it to her until it's all used up in the hope it will eventually help her. Very disappointed!

Note from Dinovite: It looks like your only about 30 days into feeding Dinovite, hang in there and give it the full 90 days.

  53. Don't work

Posted by Rae on Aug 19th 2015

    It doesn't work.

  54. NO MORE ITCHING OR BALD SPOTS!

Posted by Unknown on Aug 19th 2015

My dog (8 pound, 1 yr old Italian greyhound/chi mix) was itchy constantly, loosing hair and had bald patches where he scratched the most. He was thin (he was a rescue dog). Withing 2 weeks if adding Dinovite and Supromega, we noticed new fur growing in bald patches. ALL of the itching stopped. Previously, we couldn't even teach him tricks because he couldn't concentrate because of the constant scratching. He is SUCH a happy content dog now. His fur is all grown back and incredibly soft, and even his mental capacity seems to have grown. I tell everyone that their dogs should be on Dinovite.

  55. Eyes

Posted by Della on Aug 17th 2015

My Maltese max has been suffering for the last 2 years with his eyes tearing, drainage, crusty it just broke my heart to look at him.we have taken him to the vet so many times I've lost count, each time we would give him antibiotic shots & put him on prednisone up to 3 weeks finally the vet recommend that we change his diet which we did we would have done anything at this point.i've been hearing about Dinovite on the radio station we listen to so my husband and I decided to try it, and I can't tell you how happy we are that we did, his eyes are looking great we have no problems with him eating his food much to our surprise because he's very finicky when it comes to his food, he didn't like it wet, but has no problems with it dry and he loves the treats!! We are so happy!! Thanks Dinovite.

  56. Dog Looks As usual

This product did not clear up my dog's oily coat. Actually, I can't tell it did anything for my dog!

  57. Just cleans!

Posted by Unknown on Aug 17th 2015

This product only got my dog clean. It did not resolve her oily coat!

  58. Wow!

  59. You will be " Amazed ! "

Posted by Edwin Waldroup on Aug 16th 2015

Tried everything else, then I tried Dinovite , less than one week, Bocephus , my Yorkie , was safe from extinction and I was amazed , no more licking, scratching or any of those things your furry friend does that drives you crazy and them missable , if you love your pet, you" Will Not " regret trying , Dinovite and the staff are great, right there to help, but Dinovite will speak for its self , 1 scoop at a time

  60. non tastful

Posted by Debby Nelson on Aug 15th 2015

I have a daushound and she is about 8 yrs old. I have tried everything to get her to eat this she will not. I have even put it on steak her favorite and still no. She still licks her feet and scratches all the time.

Note from Dinovite: Please call or email us we can help to get your dog to accept the Dinovite. You can also try this trick: Take a teaspoon of Dinovite and mix it with a teaspoon of Lickochops and put it on a plate, then set the plate next to your dog's food bowl. Leave it there all day. Most dogs will go over and eat the mixture.

  61. made itching worse

Posted by Aynsley Kenner on Aug 15th 2015

My dog seemed to be doing better after starting some new medicine and prescription food from the vet. I thought the addition of Dinovite could only help things. But after a few days of Dinovite on his food, my dog was back to scratching everywhere and licking his paws so badly that I had to put a cone on him in order to restrict his access to his feet. Since Dinovite was the only new thing in his routine, I stopped using it and noticed within a couple days that the scratching has calmed down again and I've been able to take the cone off without him going immediately for his feet. Obviously some ingredient in Dinovite aggravated his allergies and made his itching worse! I really wish this had worked, I was optimistic after reading good reviews. Will just use the prescription dog food and meds from now on.

  62. no results after 2 weeks

Posted by Unknown on Aug 15th 2015

Perhaps it takes long, but so far we have seen no improvement in our dog's coat, itching or other complaints.

Note from Dinovite: Yes 2 weeks is not enough time for most people to see improvement in their dogs. Hang in there for the full 90 days.

  63. My Dachshund is a different dog.

Posted by June Fullerton on Aug 14th 2015

Last January my husband and and I adopted a Full Breed Dachshund from China. He was Street Dog of about 2 or 3 years. Having lived on the streets for about a year.
When we adopted him he was extremely overweight. Had several bald spots on his body and bad dandruff.
I heard the ad on the radio for Dinovite and thought we would try it.
Tuck, looks fabulous!!! His coat is sparkling. His fur has filled in where he was bald. He has no more dandruff. He has lost all his heavy weight and is now 18 lbs.
We will never stop with the Dinovite!! Thank you. June Fullerton, Aptos, CA.

  64. hairless no more

Posted by Kathleen on Aug 13th 2015

Missy is on her second round (3rd box) of Dinovite for small dogs. When we adopted her, she hardly had any hair, she was itching all the time and what hair she had became greasy the next day after a bath. Now she is positively FLUFFY! She even has grown hair on her tummy! She still scratches some, but she looks fabulous. We are so pleased.

  65. Cleared up my pup's red spots

Posted by Lillian Davis on Aug 13th 2015

My GSD suffers from an autoimmune disease that affects her skin. She gets sores on her tummy and bloody sores in the pads of her paws. Nothing ever worked to completely rid her of these problems. Until Dinovite. About a month after starting her on Dinovite, her red spots and sores started to disappear. Now her skin and paws are perfectly clear and she no longer licks these areas that used to be inflamed. I also give her Lick O Chops and the fish oil supplement and her coat has never looked better! She loves the taste, too!

  66. My dog refused to eat with this mix

  70. Homemade Dog Food

Posted by The Butlers from Brooklyn on Aug 10th 2015

Found your recipe for Homemade raw dog food on-line. I was as searching because our finicky Havanese was rejecting, after a few days, every dog food we tried. Followed your raw dog food recipe including the Dino-Vite and the Lick-o-chops. Now our Toby enjoys his meatball a day and no more unfinished cans of dog food in the fridge. Also in calculating the cost it has proven slightly less expensive per serving than good quality pet store dog food.

  71. Don't Work :(

Posted by Jerry on Aug 9th 2015

We started adding Dinovite to their food last November. Our dogs didn't have any visible skin issues but they did lick a lot. Now their fur looks great and they only lick to groom. We like that they are getting the essentials they need everyday.

  73. Works for older Bichon!

Posted by Unknown on Aug 8th 2015

We are taking [long-term] care of an aged Bichon for some people who had her 13 years. She had several bare-skin spots that bothered her a lot, licking and scratching constantly. After 3 weeks of Small Dog Dinovite, her fur grew back and she has only a couple of tiny bothersome spots left: the owner's vet never was able to help her!

  74. Does it work?

Posted by Unknown on Aug 8th 2015

Have not noticed a dideference in spots, nawing, or scratching as of yet. How long is the the product supposed to take?

Note from Dinovite: Give it time it can take 90 days to see improvement. Also, you may want to add some Supromega to the mix because the added Omega 3s can help.

  75. Dog refused it

Posted by Jerri Columpus on Aug 7th 2015

  76. My Dachshund is healthier with Dinovite for Small Dogs

Posted by Alicia on Aug 6th 2015

It took 90 days to notice a difference as Dinovite for Small Dogs worked its magic with gifting my dachshund the nutrient supplement he needed for a healthier body. He is on his second 90 days now, and has more energy. We also noticed his chubbiness is less which is good cause the vet said he needed to lose weight. He has lost 5 lbs since we first started the Dinovite regimen (as of August 6, 2015) and his coat is very shiny. So far nothing but positives! He loves the taste of the Dinovite with the grain-free organic dry dog food we use (the only kind he likes the taste of). Thank you Dinovite for this product. It is helping our dachshund tremendously!

  77. Helps with some things, not others

Posted by Unknown on Aug 6th 2015

We did notice that all our dogs coats became softer. Our main reason for using the product, however, was to assist with yeast infections; we even doubled the dose for one of our shih tzus. We continue to have yeast infections and are still constantly vetting and getting medication. We had hoped that this would stop the issue.

Note from Dinovite: Please call or email us, we can help your dog yeast infection with some additional diet changes.

  78. Can't Sneak it Past

Posted by Barbara Laxdal on Aug 6th 2015

The ingredients look like they would be beneficial for any small dog, but alas, my dog knows it is hiding in whatever I try to feed him with Dinovite so this product has not been helpful to my dog. I wanted him to like this, but the smell and or taste is a no go.

Note from Dinovite: Please call or email us we can help your finicky dog like the Dinovite. We also have some great tips and tricks you can check out for yourself. Just go to the "contact us" link and then type "finicky" in the search.

  79. Awesome, no more scratching

Posted by Kathy F on Aug 6th 2015

My dog has been on dinovite for about 2 years . Within few months of using dinovite, my dog's skin improved, the smell disappeared, the scabs healed up, the ear infections are almost nonexistent & he wasn't itching . I have given some of the dinovite to my daughter & cousin & they can see a difference in their dog's itching & scratching. I recommend dinovite to anyone who has a dog with skin problems. It really makes a difference for my dog & that makes my dog happy, too.

  80. Doesn't do what it claims

Posted by Debi Mills on Aug 6th 2015

I have been giving Dinovite to my Yorkie for over a month now and I haven't seen any changes to her issues: scratching, hair loss, and odor. She has actually started a new problem with separation anxiety. Not sure if Dinovite contributed to that issue or not but it's odd that she's never had separation anxiety before until starting Dinovite. She wish Dinovite had worked with her issues cause the poor puppy needs some relief from her problems. Oh, and she HATES the taste of Dinovite even when mixed in her food she'll try to eat around it the best she can.

Note from Dinovite: Debi, you are only one month into using Dinovite, keep feeding it because it can take 90 days to see a change. Also, open the emails we are sending because they contain great information that explain what to expect on your dog's journey to better health.

  82. Three Winners

Posted by Jim Kottkamp on Aug 6th 2015

We have three dogs and all three love Dinovite. I just sprinkle it on their food (no water added) and all three lick the bowl clean each time. All three a healthy and happy.

  83. A great start

Posted by RW on Aug 5th 2015

Utilizing this on our nearly 16yo Bichon. Skin sensitivity and allergy hot spots made a rough June2015 for her. After 7-10 days on dinovite, WOW what a difference. Now after month 1, her appearance is better and her skin and eyes are best they had been in past year. Why did we wait so long to start Dinovite? Here's to making her more comfortable in her last years!!

  84. ...but dog won't eat

Posted by Lynda Farabee on Aug 5th 2015

I can tell that my dog (8#papillon) smells better. I "think" it helped with itching and scratching, not the shedding tho. However she just doesn't like the supplement. I managed to get the first order down her by mixing with water and adding the lick-o-chops (whatever) but for this second batch, she just turns her nose up and will barely eat half of it. I've read the tips below and will try. The Dinovite shampoo is great..barely scratches after her bath at all. And she likes the nubs! We'll work on the supplement.

  85. Best for dogs with predisposition for coat problems

Posted by Kathy on Aug 2nd 2015

When we first took our Westie puppy to the vet she told us....oh dear, Westies have predisposition for hair and coat problems. They do not shed so they don't have traditional dog coats. We bought Dynovite right away because we heard the commercials on the radio. Waldo has had Dynovite in his food from the first month we had him. On our third visit to the vet she said" How did you get his coat so great??? I've never seen a Westie with such a great coat!"

  86. Not helpful

  87. Dog is very fussy

  90. Great Stuff

Posted by Luis on Jul 29th 2015

I have used it for about a month. I have noticed that he is scratching less and that when he goes to the bathroom, he is doing it with more ease. He had no problem getting used to it. I don't wet it, I just mix it with the lick o chops and he eats it with no problem. He is only 11 months old. I'm just glad that it is helping him because even the vet had no idea why he was scratching. The answer is always the same. It's the collar. Go figure

  91. Wow!

Posted by Sandra Tusant on Jul 29th 2015

I was worried about adding a powder to my dogs food and getting him to eat it. He's a dry/wet mix kind of pup. So we mix 1/2 scoop and added a few drops of liquid yumminess. We stepped back and let him at it. Next thing I knew he was right at my feet. Great, I thought, he doesn't like it. So I lead him back to his bowl to encourage him to give it a try. To my surprise his bowl was empty, completely empty! That's the best review there is.

  92. Very good product

Posted by Emma Cox on Jul 27th 2015

My Toy Poodle has a severe allergy to all kinds of grass and trees. I live with woods all around me and lots of grass and weeds. I have spent a fortune on vets and all kinds of medicine, shampoos, etc. and nothing seemed to help. Then my cousin told me about this product she saw advertised on TV that was susposed to be very good for allergies so I looked it up and ordered some. I also have a dachshund and even though there is nothing wrong with her she has to have some of this mixture of raw ground beef and etc. (your recipe) on her dry dog food every morning. My Poodle is still on two kinds of allergy pills a day but since she has been eating dinovite mixture she is so much better. She still has some itching but is very much better.

  93. Best product ever!

Posted by Melanie Robart on Jul 26th 2015

Your product has made such a difference in my dogs life. Literally I thought she was going to die. She is a 14 year old Shit-zu who is my family's life. Over 3 years ago we brought our dog to the vets, and continued to bring her for 3 years thousands of dollars later there was no change until one day my husband found a You-tube video talking about what yeast did to a dog. We were amazed. Your site came up with the video and we did extensive research about your product and decided to try it on our failing senior pup. To our delight with your homemade diet and supplements our beloved dog is doing so much better. It's been 2 months and her hair is growing back she's perkier and is not itching at all prior to this she had open wounds all over her body. I thought we would have to put her down. God Bless you Dinovite you saved my angel

  94. UNSURE

Posted by Unknown on Jul 26th 2015

I have heard wonderful things about this product, however my dog does not like it at all. I have tried so many ways and am about to give up. I will update at a later time, if I can get Cocoa to eat it.

Note from Dinovite: Don't give up! Check out our "help desk" it is on the "contact us" page and search "finicky" or give us a call. We have lots of helpful tips.

Also, try starting off with a teeny tiny pinch of Dinovite on the bottom of your dog's bowl and just pour the food on top and do not mix. Do this for about a week then slowly increase it to the correct serving. Another way is to take a teaspoon or so of Dinovite and mix it with an equal amount of Lickochops, making a paste. Do this on a separate plate and leave it by your dog's bowl. Many times finicky dogs will eat this mixture like a treat.

  95. Slightl Improvement

Posted by Unknown on Jul 26th 2015

I bought the product hoping to re leave the dog's itching.
I had just seen the vet and he checked his skin out and said it was a bit on the dry side, but no ticks or fleas. After about a month, the itching is slightly better.

Note from Dinovite: If your dog's skin is still dry try adding some Lickochops or Supromega along with the Dinovite.

  96. Lifesaver!

  97. So happy I found this product!!!!

Posted by Julie Erie, PA on Jul 26th 2015

I have a extremely itchy Bichon that seems to have a problem with all four seasons. We have tried every pill and cream that the vets could come up with and spent a fortune. Nothing worked. Saw a commercial about Dinovite and bought some. She has not itched since!!!! It started to work within a week and have been using it for almost two years. What a life saver!!!!!!!

  98. A miracle powder!

Posted by Unknown on Jul 26th 2015

My dachshund had severe skin bumps & yeasty.. Allergies we could never figure out! (Horrible smell & losing her hair & constant scratching!) I heard about this product for a long time, but couldnt afford it at the time. In the meantime, i was spending a bunch of $$ at the vets . i should have spent it for Dino-vite! By the time she had it for about 5 days, she was cleared up & smelled better, & her hair is thick & shining . its been a godsend for her & me! Thank you!!

  99. dinovite

Posted by Scott on Jul 25th 2015

Not sure if I should continue giving to dog after noticing that it contains yeast and yeast cultures. Was told by a vet that dogs should not have yeast especially if they have allergies.

Note from Dinovite: I've never had a problem with either and they provide a good source of B vitamins and enzymes. Usually dogs that have a problem with eating "brewer's yeast" not the form in Dinovite.

  100. So far so good

It seems like the paw licking is getting less and less. As well as the skooting.
