Ingredients

  • Ground Flax Seed -Source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Fatty acids support  skin function. Ground flax also contains phytonutrients and fiber that help support your dog's good body function.
  • Dried kelp- Natural source of iodine and many trace minerals.
  • Yeast Culture- Live  yeast that provide digestive enzymes and vitamins. Not to be confused with Candida yeast that causes yeast infections.
  • Dried yeast- Source of  digestible amino acids and B complex vitamins. Also referred to as nutritional yeast and not to be confused with brewer's yeast or "candida yeast" that causes yeast infections.
  • Ground Grain Sorghum- Natural  antioxidant.
  • Fructooligosaccharide- A complex sugar that is a prebiotic. Fructooligosaccharide passes through the stomach then small intestine undigested. As it enters the large intestine it is available as food for the beneficial bacteria that live in the large intestine. The beneficial bacterial cultures can thus thrive and start to starve out the pathogenic yeast (Candida albicans) that cause yeast infections. *An important note: the yeast we put into our products is not the same species that causes yeast infections.
  • Zinc methionine complex- A highly digestible form of zinc. Zinc methionine is a zinc atom bound to a methionine amino acid molecule. Body cells love methionine so they readily absorb it and the zinc atom goes along for the ride. Zinc is an antioxidant mineral, essential for many vital enzymatic processes. Zinc is needed for a functioning reproductive and immune system, for tissue renewal, maintenance of the skin and for healthy bones and teeth. Zinc helps support the function of the liver and the release of vitamin A. Zinc is required for the development of the skeletal system, nervous system and for brain function. Methionine is an amino acid with antioxidant activity which assists detoxification. Methionine aids the metabolism of Omega-3 essential fatty acids.
  • Alfalfa nutrient concentrate-Take everything good about alfalfa and condense it, like one giant super vegetable!
  • Aspergillus oryzae fermentation product dehydrated- Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Aspergillus niger fermentation product dehydrated-Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product dehydrated-Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Lactobacillus casei fermentation product dehydrated- Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Bifidobacterium thermophilum fermentation product dehydrated- Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.
  • Enterococcus faecium fermentation product dehydrated-Direct fed microbial that helps support immune system and  digestive tract.

Small Dogs:

We consider a small dog a toy breed like Chihuahuas. Each scoop contains enough supplement to fortify 1/2 to 1 cup of dog food each day. There are 90 servings in each box.

Special Note:

Some small breed dogs may fall into the medium category because of their larger size and weight. If your dog is large for his breed, overweight or is in-between small and medium then purchase the 90 day supply for a "Medium Dog". You will see better results feeding a "little more" than "not enough".

For Additional Nutrients

  • If your dog is finicky choose the Lickochops.

Our terrier was a mess with bald spots and scratching. The dinovite and a grain free diet have helped tremendously ! I would definately recommend this product if your dog is having problems.

  3. Puppy love

Posted by Jeryl Coleman on Jan 20th 2017

Our dog had itchy skin that we could not get rid of. We tried everything and finally tried Dinovite. We were skeptical at first but to our relief, and our Boston Terriers, it worked! She no longer has red itchy skin! We highly recommend this product if your dog is having skin issues!

  4. Big Difference for the small dogs

Posted by Unknown on Jan 18th 2017

3 shih tzu's and a small mutt all itchy and grouchy pre-Dinovite. Now everyone is happy and with beautiful coats. 2 thumbs up!

  5. My 5 yearold Shi Tzu

Posted by Dan W. on Jan 18th 2017

He loves eating his Science Diet with his Dinovite on it. My boy is acting 4 years younger. So much more energy and seems to be happier. He stopped scratching. No more ear itching. His coat is silky smooth and he always smells great now between shampooing. All after just 45 days of use.
This is an amazing product! Just as they advertised. Highly recommend.

  6. Wont Eat It

Posted by Scott Andrus on Jan 18th 2017

Initially I reviewed Dinovite at 4 or 5 stars. But over the past few weeks my Pomeranian stopped eating it. What to do?

  7. It Works !

Posted by Joann Washington on Jan 16th 2017

My Maltese Snoop was miserable, he constantly bit his back and paws turning his beautiful white coat a awful rusty color..I felt so sorry for him,and looked for a product to help him..I ordered Dinovite and started him on a daily routine. I began to notice a change. He no longer bites or licks his paws and his coat is coming back to its beautiful color..I highly recommend this product.

  8. Not Working

Posted by Unknown on Jan 15th 2017

I give it to my two dogs every day because they shed a lot. I do not see any difference in there shedding. Disappointed really hoped it would work

  9. Beautiful Coat

Posted by Martie on Jan 15th 2017

My boxer/pit mix girl has had itching issues, stinky feet and lots of shedding. Shedding is down as is the itching. Stinky feet? GONE and her coat is glossy and shiny! My daughter saw her and commented, "she's all wet"... nope, just shiny

  10. Excellent

Posted by Unknown on Jan 15th 2017

Took a few months, but the difference in our dogs coat, now, is unbelievable!

  11. So far, so good

Posted by Unknown on Jan 15th 2017

My Chiahuahua was having some skin issues so I decided to try the Dinovite. The spots have mostly cleared up, although her fur is getting thin. She loves the taste and starts begging for her meals early. It has only been a month so far, so we will see what happens.

So far I have gotten the results I expected from the commercials.

  12. Getting Older

Posted by April Featherkile on Jan 14th 2017

I have an 18 year old chiweinnie. She was doing very poorly and I thought that she would be gone by the middle of Dec. Diarrhea and vomiting while on palliative care seemed to be her lot (no pain, sleeping a lot). She was not fond of the additive at first and I added it to chicken and rice and I had to start at less that 1/4 tsp but she is gradually accepting of it. I am gradually increasing the dinovite. No diarrhea or vomiting and she is eating more often. She is old, skinny, reasonably active and in no pain but at least she is still alive.

  13. It Works!

Posted by Dan on Jan 14th 2017

When we adopted our rescue mutt our vet estimated she was 5-7 years old, was in dire need of grooming (she's a Poodle mix) and scratched continuously. Grooming only slightly reduced the scratching. With the first order of dinovite the scratching almost ceased. She has been on it since then, is now 14-16 years old and leading a happy and active life.

  14. With loving care

Posted by Nancy on Jan 13th 2017

We had 2 poodles, and lost one in November. It broke our hearts! We started looking into what we could do better for our other 8 year old poodle. He is so precious to us. We were buying good food, expensive food, but were not happy with some of the ingredients. We researched and started making our own dog food. We started there, and then read about DinOvite as an additional supplement. We ordered it, and followed the directions exactly. We never had any issues with upset stomach or any side effect that we could see. What we did notice was his coat looking thicker, and his overall energy level improving. He just loves his food, with the DinOvite. He is a happy dog and seems to be a little more perky. We feel so good that we made this decision and will continue to give him the food and vitamins he deserves. He is our best friend, and we want to do what is best for him!! We have just gotten to the full serving size, so we are expecting more great things!!

  15. Scrappy loves it Too!

Posted by Unknown on Jan 12th 2017

As with the fish oil, my Scrappy loves this stuff.
We just started using this so I'm looking forward to the skin benefits and hope it will happen soon.

  16. fantastic !!!

Posted by Dorothy on Jan 11th 2017

Scooter, my 10# poodle just loves this product. He now is 9#. I also have him on spark and young at heart by pet wellbeing He is 13 years old and anything of improvement is a wonderful thing.

  17. Lick-a-chop rules

Posted by Woody on Jan 11th 2017

My two Westies weren't eating their food with the Dinovite mixed in. Got the Lick-a-chop bottle and making a paste, feeding them before their regular Eukanuba dry food and they love it! Can't wait to see them progress.

  18. Dinovite works as advertised

Posted by Louanne Burgess on Jan 7th 2017

I have two Jack Russell Terriers, one sheds a lots and scratched all the time. We started adding Dinovite to their food and the excessive shedding and the scratching stopped. An added bonus was how spry both dogs became. They had started to slow down and act old but after a couple of weeks on Dinovite, it was like years had dropped off of them!

  19. You rescued my rescue dog!

Posted by Suzanne Reese on Jan 5th 2017

So pleased in our Biscuit's response to the Dynovite. His coat has easily doubled in thickness and he doesn't stink anymore! We adopted him two months ago and after a month on Dynovite, he looks and smells like a new dog! He is amazing, energetic, happy and most of all, healthy looking! Can't wait for my daughter to start showing this little jewel. Thanks a million!

  20. Got my dawg to eat better!

Posted by Rene on Jan 5th 2017

My dog is so finicky! He is a Bichon Frise, and he thinks he is a Price to be sure. Getting the first few spoons of Dinovite down him was a challenge, but now we have it down to a hand prepared dinner every night. He has been eating so much better, and pooing so much better. He used to have what I would refer to as "Chihuahua poos", now he has "Bulldog poos". Since he is 11 years old, I really wanted to do what is best for him, wish I would have done this sooner.

  21. dogs hate

Posted by Unknown on Jan 4th 2017

Tried mixing with Lickochops and water dogs refuse to eat.

Note from Dinovite: Try clicking the link "Finicky dog?" under "Product Info" in the navigation bar, this page has some tips and tricks to help finicky dogs eat the Dinovite. These methods work well. Don't give up on your dog.

  22. Chester's Story

Posted by teamulch on Jan 4th 2017

Chester is our 13 year old Jack Russell and Fox Terrier mix. He has always had sensitive skin, red underbelly and very itchy. Iy got so bad that he rubbed his back raw, no hair left. He had to wear a "collar of shame" and he still scratched. A good friend told us about Dinovite. Wow, what a change. We noticed the scratching had lessened after two weeks. He has stopped scratching, his coat is
healthy, shinny and sleek, his hair loss is less and he has a fresh smelling oder. He is acting like a much younger dog by playing and jumping more. Thank you Dinovite.
PS. Chester was given some food without Dinovite and he waited to eat until the Dinovite was added. So he likes the flavor.

  23. My Morky loves Dinovite.

Posted by Leroy on Jan 4th 2017

My Morky just loves Dinovite. We have started our second order and we add it to his food every day. He is 8 years old and very perky and happy. Thank you.

  24. Works

Posted by Rob on Jan 4th 2017

    Works exactly as advertised

  25. A NEW PUG!

Posted by Mandy on Jan 4th 2017

My pug is 10 years old. She's been taking Dinovite for a little over 4 weeks now. For the past 2 year she had constant problems. She licked her paws constantly and her hair had gotten so thin and brittle I couldn't even brush her because her skin would start to bleed in spots. We started Dinovite and within 1 week her hair was growing back in and it was soft again. Now, 4 weeks later she doesn't lick her paws hardly at all. She's more alert and sleeps so good and peaceful now. We have our little happy pug back. I completely 100% love this product. It did exactly what it stated it would do. We will be keeping her on Dinovite no doubt. We are so happy she is feeling good.

  26. The Dog hates it.

Posted by Rich on Jan 4th 2017

My Dog just plain hates the stuff. You put it with a dish of food and she won't touch it.

Note from Dinovite: Try clicking the link "Finicky dog?" under "Product Info" in the navigation bar, this page has some tips and tricks to help finicky dogs eat the Dinovite. These methods work well. Don't give up on your dog.

  27. Works great

Posted by Trizel on Jan 4th 2017

Our little dog was constantly licking and biting his paws and legs, we tried everything to help him and then we read about dinovite online and were very skeptical about it because everything we tried did not work. After the 2nd day we noticed a big improvement and could not believe how fast it worked after everything we tried and countless trips to the vet. Thank you so much.. and our lil Tuxedo thanks you also.

  28. Fixed his awful sores

Posted by Maggie on Jan 1st 2017

My Jack Russell was scratching and scratching< He couldn't get peaceful and he's a tough little guy, not much fazes him. I had heard the Dinovite ads and was very skeptical but there was the money back guarantee so what did I have to lose? Well it was a miracle! It worked like a charm, the spots and scratching faded away and stayed away!! I will admit that my snob dog doesn't like the way it tastes so I have to gravy his food up with peanut butter or leftover bits from people food, or the expensive wet dog food (he doesn't even like most dog foods unless it's the wet kind). After going through I think 2 packages of Dinovite, I thought, "we don't need this any more" and I didn't reorder. That was about the time I started hearing the Dinovite ad that said "don't stop using it because the dog's skin is OK, you will regret it." Again I was a skeptic but the ad was correct! Sherman's skin started getting bad again and he was scratching and we were all miserable. I of course ordered another batch of Dinovite and will NEVER stop using it! He skin is clear, his fur is soft and beautiful! I learned my lesson! Dinovite is an HONEST company. They give advice and do whatever they can to help you help your dog. Of course with some it just isn't right but read the reviews, it's a MIRACLE for so very many people!! I don't have to spend tons of money on treatments that I don't want in my dogs sweet body! Dinovite is a wonderful product and the people who supply it are wonderful as well! Thank you so very much!! I can't say enough good about Dinovite! I tell people about it whenever I can. THANK YOU!!

  29. No more scratchy, smelly skin

Posted by Kathy Finkey on Jan 1st 2017

My shi tau, Elliott, was having smelly crusty skin & scratching. My sister heard about Dinovite on the radio & mentioned it to me. I checked their website & ordered it & they said about using a good quality dog food. Elliott is doing so well no more itchy, crusty skin. That was about 4 years ago. I highly recommend Dinovite. It works

  30. A surprising difference!

Posted by Unknown on Dec 31st 2016

I purchased the smallest package available to test out with my medium sized dogs. They had no problems to begin with, but thought I'd try one box and see what happened. In about two weeks, their coats looked totally different with an amazing healthy shine. Sold me on this one. Made a huge difference.

  31. fussy eater?

Posted by Unknown on Dec 29th 2016

Never considered my dog a fussy eater but just can't seem to get him to eat his food with the Dinovite on it. I'll keep trying as I know how beneficial it is.

Note from Dinovite: Try clicking the link "Finicky dog?" under "Product Info" in the navigation bar, this page has some tips and tricks to help finicky dogs eat the Dinovite. These methods work well.

  32. Miracle Worker

Posted by Unknown on Dec 29th 2016

My corgi Lulu is a different dog!! She's happy no more itching!!!

  33. Dogs Coat is very Soft

Posted by Bob on Dec 29th 2016

Bailey coat is soft, but she losses hair on her blanket, when you brush her nothing comes out. She is a rescue part lab and part boarder collie. She weighs 56 lb. I give her 1 scoop a day

  34. Will Never Be Without It!

Posted by Kathleen French on Dec 28th 2016

My Yorkie has ridiculously sensitive skin to the point that NOTHING that the vet offered helped including prescription shampoo. The poor little thing was always trying to scratch herself, she had scabs all over her skin and she smelled badly. Ever since we tried Dinovite, Tessa has wonderfully healthy skin. It took a few months, but we hung in there and now her skin is healthy and she is so happy and relieved. She gobbles it up right along with her food each day. It's like taking her daily vitamin. Even her breath is good. Now we will never be without it.

  35. Too soon to tell

Posted by Unknown on Dec 28th 2016

My Shih Tzu and Lhasa Apso are taking their time getting used to this product. Following your "Finicky Dog" instructions after more than a month we are finally up to 1/4 scoop per day, but at least they're finally eating it. I haven't noticed any change in coat, skin, ears, scratching or licking yet, but we'll keep at it. I agree with the comment "Surprised" below: "I actually thought I was buying dog food, not powdered vegetables. Reading the instructions I read you have some gravy in a tube to help this product stick to dry dog food. Woulda been nice if the order form had have mentioned that."

  36. Early Days

Posted by michelle brown on Dec 28th 2016

l can already see a difference in my dog, she scratches less, and she loves the taste! It is still early days, but I have great hopes for my dog who has suffered all her life

  37. Good product, but extensive

Posted by Vicky G on Dec 25th 2016

This product is good, but it is the most expensive product out there and when there is a promotion of sales or coupons, the savings is very minimal, typically equates to $2 or $3 savings, which does not even come close to cover their expensive shipping cost. Shipping takes several weeks to get to our location. This company is a monopoly and they don't operate in a competitive market. Overall I am not extremely happy, the product is the only keep me re-ordering for the time being, but not for long as I find that there are other comparable products.

Note from Dinovite: I am glad Dinovite is working well for your dog. Currently you are spending 28 cents per day to feed your dog Dinovite. Shipping is $5.99 and takes a few days to get to most locations unless you live in Canada. It sounds like this is where you live, Canada is difficult to say the least.

  38. Amazing

Posted by Deborah on Dec 25th 2016

My dog Pluto is a 14 years old Shitzu. He has itch skin and lack of energy. After taking Dinovite he walks so fast. I have to slow him down. Amazing results. Thanks

  39. So far so good

Posted by Unknown on Dec 24th 2016

My dog has been using this product for about a month now and I'm seeing progress in the way his coat feels and he's scratching less

  40. Less Scratching

Posted by Regina on Dec 23rd 2016

My dachshund was constantly scratching and biting at herself. She's been eating Dinovite with her food, and she is much better. Still scratching some - but MUCH better!

  41. nothing yet

Posted by Laurie Hamlett on Dec 22nd 2016

She has been eating full scoop now for almost 3 wks. No hair regrowth yet, & believe me we are looking!!

  42. Spoiled (And Very Happy) Pup

I have a 6 year old West Highland Terrier. We adopted him when he was 5 months old. Of course we love him to death. It didn't take long to figure out that he (Simon) had some issues, which the vet said is common in this breed of dog. We had him back and forth to the vet many times due to his itchy skin. We tried everything to help him feel more comfortable. My husband heard an advertisement on the radio for a product called Dynovite, which was supposedly guaranteed to help solve skin issues. We had tried so many things at this point but decided to give the Dynovite a try. It has been a life saver for our little Simon. He couldn't be happier or more spoiled. We have been adding Dynovite to his food for approximately 3-4 years. We don't give him any treats anymore except for an occasional carrot chip. We have him on a very good, pure dog food too. Several months ago I ran out of Dynovite and I didn't think too much about it and I just continued to feed him his regular food. He soon began having diarrhea a few times a week and then it occurred to me that we had run out of Dynovite. As soon as I got it ordered and back in his food he was perfect. I cant tell you how happy this makes me. I am a little OCDish with some things, like Simon's food. I get a big bag of dog food and pre-package it in zip lock bags, with a scoop of Dynovite added to each. This makes my life easier and feeding time tidier. I add about 1 tablespoon of water to his food and give it a little shake. I see many Westies who are overweight but our little Simon was maintained his 17-18 pound size for 6 years.

    Thank you Dynovite!!!!

My dog use to have tummy issues all the dog foods on the market I tried the best ones and nothing help until I started making her food with veggies, rice, chicken, eggs, and sometimes sweet potatoes. I use the small box for my Big Dog, and it works for her and my budget.

  45. Dinovite is dynamite!

Posted by Beth Simmons on Dec 16th 2016

Our dog is sooo.. much healthier. He's 9 years old and now acts like he's 3. He's so much perkier and playful. His belly skin has changed from almost black to a healthy pinkish color! Dinovite is worth every penny invested in purchasing this product! What a difference it has made in our dogs health!

  46. ok i guess

Posted by Jennifer White on Dec 15th 2016

I am sure it works well for other dogs but it did not agree with my Beagle he would eat it and then 5 mins later throw it back up and i know its not the food he has been on the same food since he was a puppy so oh well 30 bucks wasted but i will live.

  47. my dog didnt like it

He eats very little of his food when this is on it. Even less if i put the lick o chops on it. He does love the nub nubs, but its to rich for my budget.

  48. multi problem solution

Posted by Lizzy RN on Dec 10th 2016

After 1 week on dinovite my dogs ear started to clear. Prior to use she had constant build up of dark thick discharge from both ears and the problem kept returning. She now has clean ears with no drainage or infection. As an added bonus her coat is shiny and soft. She also had a terrible problem with anal gland discharge which has totally disappeared since the dinovite.

  49. Every Dog is different

Posted by Unknown on Dec 8th 2016

My dog wasn't sure about it at first (FIRST DAY) but we simply sprinkled it on the food dry, put warm water in and mixed until each food pellet was coated. Now if I don't have it in there, he gets disappointed! His fur is softer, he licks his feet WAY less, and he seems healthier in general. Also more regular poop schedule (sorry :p ) which is nice.

  50. It wasn't the Breed; it was the Nutrition

Posted by Nancy B on Dec 8th 2016

We have a lovely rescue mix (Shar Pei/Lab) and everyone said "They shed a LOT." Sure enough we were vacuuming at least 2 times a week. She'd cuddle on you and you'd walk away looking like you were wearing a pair of Yak pants. We got used to that, but then she started attacking the base of her tail like she was itchy. We decided to try a smaller size box just to see if it would help. Within a week, she wasn't attacking her tail anymore! But, the biggest thing is that the shedding is down by probably 75%. I would have never believed that this product would cut down on the shedding so much. We're thrilled. Bought a big box and will continue to use it. My dog eats it pretty eagerly too. It's not the breed...it's the nutrition!

  51. Exactly as advertised !

Posted by David on Dec 8th 2016

After approx. 3 weeks our 2 small dogs have more energy, shinier coats, and NO SMELL. Our pets love the taste and, in fact, leave their dishes looking as clean as if they hand been hand washed. The Brussels Griffon used to develop an extremely musty odor within 2 days of a visit to the Groomer--this is no longer an issue. I have recommended this product to all my friends and it will continue to be a staple in their diets.

  52. Wish it worked

Posted by jodi on Dec 7th 2016

I have two dogs using Dinovite and I am on my third box, so it would count as month four. I wish that my dog would stop itching and hurting himself with scabs and sensitive skin. Not sure what to do next.

Note from Dinovite: Try feeding our dog food recipe, it works wonders.

  53. Good So Far!!

  54. Wow!

Posted by jean Wool on Dec 7th 2016

Dinovit is amazing I have to admit that I had my doubts. My 10 year old Chihweenie was getting a bath weekly because she smelled so bad, She was also acting like an old dog.
After 3 weeks on Dinovite, she no longer itches or smells. She is also playing again like a puppy. Dinovite is a miracle!

  55. So far- fantastic!!

Posted by Steve on Dec 6th 2016

My little guy - 13 pounds - was having severe skin problems. He has always been spoiled by me, and I really do not know what caused his hair loss, extreme itching (and as a result extreme scratching), etc. my vet tried for months to stop the scratching, but to no avail. After hearing ads for Dinovite, I ordered it.
While reading about Dinovite, I read about feeding raw. I concluded that my poor boys problems had to be food related, so I took a chance.
First, he LOVES the raw food. Second, after 30 days, he has gained a little weight, his hair is growing back, and no more scratching. So far, so good.

  56. amazing results

Posted by betty on Dec 2nd 2016

We adopted a senior dog who had been living on the streets. He bad skin and fur- so bad that even now, some of his hair has not, and probably will not, return. The remaining fur, however is thick, shiny and he sheds VERY little. His energy level is through the roof. It has been a transformation. I am convinced it is the dinovite that has made the difference.

  57. Hoping to see improvement

My pug Louis is very finicky and would not eat it, I tried starting him off small and adding water which he hates I hid it on the bottom of the bowl and still he would only eat a little. Then he started to eat it and started to get puke it up. So I stopped giving it to him. He loves the nub nubs and goes crazy over them but is just not the dinovite.

It hasn't been quite a month, but I can already see a difference. My dog is friskier and does lick his paws a much. I'm sure he feels much better and has a better quality of life.

  63. My dog doesn't like it much...

Posted by David Hittle on Nov 27th 2016

I have a pug, we had to buy him a bowl that prevented him from eating very fast because then he would choke. He actually pushes the Dinovite around so that he doesn't have to eat as much of it. But at the end of the day I pour the Dinovite over new food that I give him, in hopes that he'll get more of it...

  64. Dog hates product.

  65. Give it Time!

Posted by Ann Constantino on Nov 25th 2016

My 12 year old lab has suffered all her life. Now her coat is beautiful and she no longer scratches, bites, licks or rubs obsessively. She has also been playing with her toys like a puppy again (probably because she's no longer miserable with itchy skin). Yes, it took about a month to see results, and she didn't like the flavor/texture of the powder. Now she eats it like a bowl of warm cereal with a little peanut butter and water (add a tsp. of half&half if your so inclined). Zap it in the microwave for about 20 -30 seconds - till its WARM NOT HOT. She looks forward to it every morning. Now if you could only solve her "old dog breath" problem our lives would be perfect.

  68. My dog won't eat it. So I can't really give it an honest rating. Sure sounds good for other dogs. Mine is a VERY picky eater.

Posted by Rebecca Edmister on Nov 23rd 2016

Very disappointed. The first day he ate it fine. The second day he wouldn't eat it so I added some Likochops.....he ate a little. The third day I had to hand feed him to get him to eat. After that, he had the runs for the next five days. Of course I took him off of it after one more day. I had such high hopes. Now I have all of these vitamins and he won't eat his food and gets the runs if he does.I even tried cutting back on the amount I gave him to no avail.

  69. Dog doesn't like it...

Posted by Trudi on Nov 23rd 2016

I question the efficacy of a product that has to have 'treats' to entice the dog to eat food coated with Dinovite. I am putting a half a teaspoon in a bowl with food. She doesn't eat wet food so the water thing doesn't work for us. Too bad you couldn't have made it taste good on it's own.

  70. Top notch

Posted by Pamela Holt on Nov 23rd 2016

We adopted a 7-year-old Shih Tsu from the local Humane Society to be a companion for our 8-year old. Jessie came to us with fur browned from obsessive licking and she was chewing on her bottom all the time. She had a fierce stink to her, too.

She didn't object to the introduction of DinoVite--she dug right in! She scratches and licks a lot less now. And her stink is only after a week or so. She's also more interested in eating our reptile (we don't let her, but she couldn't be persuaded to be interested in him at all in the first couple of weeks). We're a third or more through our first box, and I'm planning to reorder when the time comes.

As I'm writing this review, she's also playing with a ball for the first time!

  71. Excellent Supplement for Your Furry Friend

Posted by wcwarrick on Nov 23rd 2016

Before DinOvite, our MaltiPoo would itch so bad, that he would scratch 'till he was scabbed over. After trying multiple different diets, the addition of DinOvite stopped his itch. To be sure it was the DinOvite and not the dog food, we withheld the supplement from his meals for a week and the itching returned. This is a great product for a healthy and happy pet!

  72. Dog Is Much Improved!

Posted by Linda Robertson on Nov 21st 2016

After only about 10 days I saw a great improvement! My little dog is at least 13 years old. For over 10 years she has had no hair growing on the top of her tail because of another dry food, which I stopped feeding, but the hair never grew back. That hair has grown back and her coat is soft as silk, even though she hasn't had a bath in a month.
She hates(!) DinOvite! In the beginning I would mix it with plain yogurt or canned pumpkin, and mix that with her dry food. She was not at all enthused. It was like she would eat "under protest". I hated that. But, after I saw the changes in her, we were going to do this, whether she likes it or not.
Fortunately, a friend, who had recently lost her dog, gave me a large batch of the raw recipe with the DinOvite already mixed in. My dog is ecstatic at meal time! She has numerous skin issues, itching, constant licking, etc. All of these are improving!
To those who have dogs that don't like the taste, get creative. If your child didn't like the medicine that would help them get better, would you stop giving the medicine?
I'm a believer in the DinOvite and the raw food recipe. When my girl goes to the groomer for a bath I'm taking the Lavender shampoo that same friend gave me.

It has been a tough go to get my Cavalier to tolerate this addition to his food. It's been about 6 weeks and it's getting better. He has never been one to chow down on food anyway. So keep this in mind. I still like the idea of the product. One positive change has been his breath. Much improved.

  79. Dog will not eat

Posted by AMR on Nov 18th 2016

I purchased Dinovite for a new dog I adopted and was underweight. He would not eat any food that I put it on. I tried hiding it in the food and even just tried sprinkling a small amount to get him use to it. He would not eat it. He even went a whole day without eating, until I gave him regular food the next day. Sorry, my dog did not like it. I even sprinkled with oil which was suggested. He had a bad odor also which I wanted to correct. I have done all the tricks suggested in "finicky eaters" and he still will not eat it. Very disappointed .

Note from Dinovite: Try the tiny pinch trick and take your time, he will come around. Don't give up on your dog.

  80. Wow! It really works!

Posted by Chip on Nov 18th 2016

Week eight into the Dinovite regiment and both my dogs that once had major licking; and unhealthy skin and fur issues are nearly 100% ! Even my vet and spa operator took notice of the vast improvement at recent visits. Have faith, as it was rather difficult the first few weeks of the supplement into my dogs normal feed. I added Lickochops to the mix and noticed positive change about week 3. Now Sparky and Charley look forward to their meals. Thanks Dinovite!

Posted by CINDY HOSIER on Nov 16th 2016

We purchased this for our 8lb. Schoonoodle. She was stinky, rattling her ears, licking her feet. She has been on it faithfully for about a month. All of the above have decreased quite a bit. She also has anal glands that produce alot. We have them expressed every month, hoping to see that get better. She is 11 years old and before adding Dinovite to her diet and expressing her anal glands regularly, she was not very happy or active. That has changed for the good also! We hope all of these good results just get better through the 90 days.

My dachshund scratched and chewed until his skin was raw. I decided to try Dinovite -- which has helped him enormously. It's been hard for him to get used to the taste or texture, but I have noticed that he is biting and chewing his skin much less, and he actually is able to rest much more than before. I haven't got him up to the right amount yet each day, but I'm working at it. I will definitely purchase it again.

Him to eat it. You cannot just mix it with a little water and put it on his dry food so he not only wastes his food but the Dino vote as well

My poor dogs were just scratching themselves senseless. I felt so badly for them. I tried over the counter shampoos, different dog foods and finally saw an ad for DinOvite. Gave it a try and after 3 weeks NO SCRATCHING! What an amazing product. I have two miniature Doxies. Every night I pop open a small, wet dog food, pour some fish oil on and sprinkle the dinovite. They literally whimper and jump all over the place until I give it to them. They can't eat it fast enough!! And if I forget, they remind me! Their coats just glisten, have more energy and best of all NO SCRATCHING!!! Highly recommend this product!!

I actually thought I was buying dog food, not powdered vegetables. Reading the instructions I read you have some gravy in a tube to help this product stick to dry dog food. Woulda been nice if the order form had have mentioned that. My dog snneezes when she eats, Im trying to mix it in with broth, it makes a mess, the dog food bowl has to be washed every meal. Not what I was expecting. Not easy to get the dog to eat. I have no idea if she feels better, but meal time is more of a hassle.

Since starting my 10 lb chiweenie on this dinovite system we have seen remarkable improvement. Using the carb free raw diet and all suggested supplements including their shampoo. Itching has decreased 75 % by week 6. This system is as easy as it comes. I trust their wisdom and experience and will continue to use it as long as it works.I researched many other recipes/brands for WEEKS. You can buy other vitamin and probiotic mixes and fats and grinds and measure and weigh and clean...clean...clean.... all that raw meat/organs/ BONES(which he had no idea what to do with.. ha ha)...but I tried that and what a hassle. I was putting more time into fixing the diet for our pup than I was for my husband! LOL. I am going with this! Ground meat/Calcium Supp/ Dinovite and Lickochops. Easy Peasy! Thanks Dinovite!( P.S. Great customer service, and almost anytime of the waking day.. esp their real time chat! ) Will send updates as wee progress along.. Hoping for 90% reduction in itching by 12th week.
