What is Holistic Dog Food?

It's really a bit of an oxymoron when you think about it. Holistic (Holisim) functions under the idea that everything about every living thing is interconnected. The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) was founded on the understanding that young men should be of good health: Body - Mind - Spirit. You can't really have an "isolated" holistic dog food, you have to have a holistic approach to something. The dog food we feed our companions is simply a component of a holistic method of care.

Holistic dog food or holistic approach?

Using the YMCA principal of Body - Mind - Spirit; how is your pal doing?

Since you're on this page, that probably means that you care passionately for the welfare of your dog, you want them to thrive. Their Spirit is likely in pretty good shape. If you just adopted, there may still be some way to go...hang in there. Mind - again, likely to be doing pretty well with someone like you in their life. Body? You are either here to make something better or to ensure it stays in good condition. Either way, you're in the right place.

Work from the inside out

Nutrition and good health are both inside jobs. Everything begins with what we take into our system. The old adage is; Garbage In-Garbage Out. You've heard it a million times, but it's truer now than ever regarding dog foods.

Much of the reason we even look for "holistic dog food" is due to the symptoms that are brought about by the shear rot that is in bags being marketed as food for dogs. Here is the ingredients listed on the side of the #1 selling dog food, by volume, in America -

Ground yellow corn, soybean meal, ground whole wheat, corn syrup, poultry fat, Meat and bone meal (Animal Fat Preserved with BHA and Citric Acid), Chicken by-product Meal, Rice, Animal Digest, Salt, Calcium Carbonate, Potassium Chloride, Choline Chloride, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Vitamin D and E Supplement, Niacin, Copper Sulafate, Manganous Oxide, Vitamin A Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Biotin, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamine Mononitrate, Meadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex Source of Vitamin K, Calcium Iodate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Riboflavin Supplement, Cobalt Carbonate, Folic Acid, Sodium Selenite, Folic Acid

That's sounds more like chicken feed than dog food.

How Does Dinovite Help?

Dinovite gives your dog the minerals, fragile nutrients and enzymes they would have if they were eating in the wild.

Hunting and eating - Now that's Holistic dog food

Holistic dog food is just the first step
