Nomoflea™ Flea & Tick Spray kills fleas and ticks safely without poison! To explain how it works let's review a little biology.

Fleas are insects and ticks are arachnids both are invertebrates, meaning they don't have a backbone. Instead, both fleas and ticks have an exoskeleton and it serves the following functions:

  • protective covering over the body
  • surface for muscle attachment
  • sensory interface
  • water-tight barrier against desiccation (dehydration)

A flea and a tick's exoskeleton has a waxy layer that keeps their body fluids in. This is part of the water tight barrier of protection.

Nomoflea™ dissolves and emulsifies this waxy protective layer of fleas and ticks. Without this waxy protective layer on their exoskeleton they rapidly lose their body fluids, dehydrate and die. Nomoflea™ is a polypeptide protein molecule specifically engineered to dissolve this waxy covering of a flea or tick's exoskeleton and it is made out of vegetable oil! You heard that right, vegetable oil!

Nomoflea™ is sold in two forms:

  • Flea & Tick Spray for Dogs and Cats
  • Flea & Tick Spray for the household

Fleas and ticks need to come in direct contact with Nomoflea™ so that it can dissolve the waxy protective layer of their exoskeleton. So, we provide a spray to directly apply on your dog or cat and the household spray that has more particles for residual action in carpet and on pet bedding. Both forms are effective for up to 30 days!

Nomoflea™ kills fleas and ticks by emulsifying and dissolving the waxy protective covering of their exoskeleton. Without this protective layer the fleas and ticks dehydrate and die. Thus killing them without the use of poison. Nomoflea™ Flea & Tick Spray kills fleas and ticks without poison and is safe for use on puppies and kittens.

Directions:

Shake well before use. Beginning at your pet’s hind quarters. Gently roll your pet’s fur forward exposing small amounts of its skin.  While holding the nozzle approximately 8 to 10 inches away, squeeze trigger to provide a mist spray to the exposed area.  Repeat until your pet’s entire body has been misted.  When misting about your pet’s head, gently cover its eyes with one hand while you spray with the other.  If you believe that you have inadvertently sprayed into your pet’s eyes, as a precaution against possible mild irritation, thoroughly rinse with tap water.  Do not wipe eyes.  When finished wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Reapply as needed or a minimum of every 30 days. Also reapply after bathing or swimming. Follow this procedure for optimum effectiveness and to protect your pet from reinfestation.

When finished wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

Storage and Disposal:

Store at room temperature. Avoid exposure to heat and direct sun light. Do not freeze. Do not store at temperatures greater than 140 F. Disposal, offer for recycle or discard in trash.

  1. Utter rubbish!

Posted by Tony Wilson on Sep 10th 2017

Have applied this product to my cat twice with absolutely no results whatsoever other than a wet, mad cat. Save your money and buy something else. Would give a ZERO STAR REVIEW if it were possible. Total waste of $24!!!

  2. It works

Posted by Unknown on Sep 4th 2017

My son had an infestation of fleas and needed something for a 3 lb dog....so it could not be harsh. I gave him my bottle of nomofleas and it did the job! Now I need to get some more to keep on hand!

  3. Good Safe Product

Posted by Genevieve Miles on Sep 10th 2016

It has been very, very hot and humid here in central New Jersey and Nomoflea has worked well. I have watched the fleas die within seconds of being sprayed. I use it often but, it's o.k. because it is all natural.

  4. Dinovite reverses ageing in my Dog

Posted by Roland McNeil on Sep 4th 2016

My bordercollie /Beagle male was having the usual agieng problems . I heard an advertizment on the radio for similar problems with another persons dog . Iordered it and in 3 months took my dog to the Vet. she could not beleive the difference in health and his happy attitude. She wanted to know all about Dinovite. obviously I couldn't say enough good about my great results. She was fascinated. But best of all my best freind is doing much better. Thank you.

  5. works!1

Posted by corkyd on Aug 28th 2016

this stuff works!! just not enough of it in a bottle!!

  6. Does not repel

Posted by Unknown on Aug 27th 2016

The product kills fleas but does not keep them off my dogs. I end up dipping my finger in the liquid and rubbing it on individual fleas to kill them & then pick them off.

Note from Dinovite: You are right Nomoflea is not a repellant, it kills the fleas.

  7. No change

Posted by Unknown on Aug 17th 2016

I found the only way to get the cat completely covered ended up soaking her and even then it had no effect on ridding her of the flea infestation. I felt terrible for putting her through this ordeal.

  8. Killed but did not repel

Posted by Unknown on Aug 13th 2016

This product kill the fleas but did not repel them at all. My dog and I were visiting a flea infested area In Florida. I coated her with Nomoflea; still, an hour later, I could flea comb 50-100 fleas off of her. The cycle was repeated until we left Florida and perhaps simultaneously the Advantage kicked in.

Note from Dinovite: You are right Nomoflea kills the fleas but does not repel them.

  9. don't need the sample you sent

Posted by linda davidson on Aug 11th 2016

we don't have any fleas so did not use the sample you sent. Gave it away

Note from Dinovite: You actually selected to receive it, you can select other free items.

  10. This stuff works!!!

Posted by Unknown on Jun 24th 2016

I have an 18 month old who was picking up fleas this season like crazy. (We live in Florida) She is in good health and eats high quality food. We have never used toxic products to treat our pets, only flea buster for the few carpet areas and sofa, with excellent success. Tried NoMoFlea on her and was thrilled to find no fleas for 1 1/2-2 weeks after applying!!! Have continued to reapply every few weeks and have not found one flea! It does not have a strong smell like other essential oil products which means she doesn't roll around on any surface she can find, sneezing and acting miserable. Great product that I recommend to all my pet friends.

  11. LOVE!

Posted by Unknown on Jun 19th 2016

Battling fleas for 2 months with our newly adopted dog.. have always used natural treatments with great results. Not working with our new girl.. Tried another oil based treatment but the smell was so strong she sneezed and rolled around to rid her coat of the oils...NoMoFlea is truly working!! I use as directed and she is flea free!! No strong smell...we are thrilled and ordering more before we go to Minnesota on vacation to see if it wards off ticks too.

  12. Did not work

Posted by Debbie Reeves on May 27th 2016

I have a Great Pyrenees, with a white coat and tender skin, fleas love her. I used Nomofleas and saw no improvement or decrease in fleas on her. Follow directions to the letter, very disappointed in this product.

  13. I'm not sure what I did wrong...

Posted by Margaret on May 24th 2016

I recently bout this product with high hopes. I have been struggling with fleas for months now and decided to try this product after seeing a video about it on youtube. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but it did not work. I bought this spray and sprayed my cat. I also bout the home spray and sprayed my entire apartment and I am still having flea problems.

Note from Dinovite: It sounds like you may not have sprayed enough household spray, use about 1 bottle per room and see if that does not help.

  14. Nomoflea Flea Spray for Pets

Posted by Suzanne on May 23rd 2016

Fleas seem to be very bad this year as I have never had a flea problem before. I spray the Nomoflea Spray on my dogs as directed, and also directly on fleas when I see them on the dogs. I like that it is non-poisonous. Nomoflea spray slows down the fleas so I can easily remove them from the dogs. However, once the spray dries, I don't think it kills any future fleas which may get on my dogs, because my dogs always seem to have 2 or 3 fleas on them even though I may have sprayed them the day before. I use the Nomoflea, Nomofleas Household Spray, foggers, outdoor sprays, and vacuum often to try to keep from getting an infestation, but I still find a few fleas on them each day. So I use the Nomoflea spray to slow down the fleas so they can be easily removed from my dogs' fur.

  15. Fair

Posted by Janet on May 18th 2016

Nomofleas does not seem to keep critters off my dog.

Note from Dinovite: You are right Nomoflea is not a repellent, it kills the fleas after they come in contact with it.

  16. nomoflea

Posted by Unknown on Apr 28th 2016

the product itself is good. the spray bottle for my dogs didn't work. It would not spray and then the pull button broke off

  17. Great Product but the Sprayer is Awful

Posted by Katie on Apr 28th 2016

This product is fantastic, but all 3 of the last 4 bottles I ordered had sprayers that broke after the first couple of applications. I've switched out the tops, and I'm down to one sprayer that is still hanging in there....

  18. Nomoflea

Posted by Steph on Apr 25th 2016

Nomoflea keeps ticks from latching onto my cats, but they have been coming inside on the cats alive and get on me. I am going to increase the application frequency to see if that helps.

  19. Doesn't work

Posted by Millie on Apr 24th 2016

My dogs were not flea infested because I have house and yard sprayed on regular basis. I do walk them and they pick up fleas that way I guess. Anyway I had found a couple when grooming them so I tried your product. Didn't work at all.

  20. Yesmoticks

Posted by Jeanette on Apr 16th 2016

I am sorry to say that the Nomoflee product has not helped keep the deer ticks off at all. I was hopeful, but here in midcoast Maine, we are inundated with the creatures. My collies bring them in every time they are outdoors. Perhaps this product works better for flees, which I have never had a problem with.

Note from Dinovite: Nomoflea is not a repellent, so it won't keep them off your pet but it will kill them by dehydrating the waxy layer of their exoskeleton. Ticks are tough buggers.

  21. Flea and tick

Posted by Debbie Lewis on Apr 11th 2016

Love, love this product love not having to use the strong chemical topical this works so well and my personal don't mind when I put on

  22. no more itching, scratching and jingling of tags to wake me from a resrful slumber!

Posted by karen on Apr 8th 2016

We have 3 med size dogs, we camp year round . Our dogs are no lo get waking us with the scratching and digging. We see no sign of fleas, or other creepy crawlies - great stuff!

  23. This works!

Posted by Unknown on Feb 11th 2016

I spray this non-toxic flea killer on my pooch every week or so, 'cause he likes to play outside a lot and I live way out in the country, and it works great. No smell, no mess, no poison (he's a licker so that's a must), and best of all, no more fleas. I like the way the product comes through the trigger as a fine mist, makes it easier to rub into his coat. I highly recommend this product and will definitely keep some in stock.

  24. This Works!

Posted by Faith on Jan 11th 2016

I have multiple cats and have struggled with fleas for a year now (a new kitten brought them in - we generally don't have much of a problem where I live). I think I have tried about everything, but Nomoflea works absolutely the best. First, it is harmless for my cats and this is not easy to find. A lot of things that are sold as "natural" are really dangerous for cats. I tried quite a few of them before I realized the danger and none even worked. The only other thing that is equally harmless is vinegar and water, which does kill some fleas right when sprayed but not all and is no more effective than bathing. I did not find that it has any repellant action at all, except on me! When we had quite a few fleas and I occasionally got bitten at night if I sprayed myself and the bed with vinegar/water I did not get bit. But I had to do this daily. An awesome thing about this product is that the spray is so "soft" that my cats actually enjoy my rubbing their fur and don't even really notice they are actually getting sprayed. It even makes their fur soft and fluffy! I thought it was expensive at first, but it goes a very long way. Not sure how long it really lasts, but I use it about twice a month and my cats are all flea free. Once I am sure the fleas are really gone I will go to once monthly. I do agree with other reviewers that the lock and open feature on the nozzle can be a problem, but I see that Dinovite has changed that.
Thank you, Dinovite, for making this exceptional product!

  25. WOW!

Posted by Marlo on Jan 8th 2016

This product is awesome. It literally kills fleas on contact. We've had to spray him twice in the last 6 wks, but it really does work well.

  26. We continue to use this on our two dogs.

Posted by TomD on Dec 3rd 2015

Both our dogs love getting their bath, once they've been corralled and put in the bath tub.

  27. Total Dissatisfaction

Posted by Celeste on Nov 25th 2015

Didn't work waste of time and money. I sprayed and rubbed to no avail. I bomded the house and treated my dog and cat the same day. Was really hoping for a natural way to control fleas.

Note from Dinovite: why are you bombing your house with a poison and using Nomoflea? It sounds like you have a major flea infestation. I checked your account and you only bought the "on pet" Nomoflea and did not purchase the home spray. I can see why you are not satisfied with the results but you must understand you are not using it as recommended to fight a full blown flea infestation. Nomoflea works extremely well when used correctly.

  28. Product did not work

Posted by Unknown on Nov 18th 2015

I am very disappointed with the effectiveness of this product. There is no way to get to the fleas through all of your dog's fur using that spray bottle. You may be able to kill a few, but that's not good enough when fighting fleas.

Note from Dinovite: Some dog's fur can make it tough. This next round of Nomoflea we are packaging will have a flip-top cap along with the spray nozzle. You should be able to squirt the Nomoflea along the back and at the base of the skin. Then just kind of rub it around.

  29. doesn't work

Posted by Unknown on Nov 8th 2015

The nomoflea does not work. I sprayed it carefully all over my cat and with in hours she was scratching again . I will not buy anymore

Note from Dinovite: It sounds like you have a home that is infested with fleas. Nomoflea will not stop your cat from scratching but it will kill the fleas as they come in contact with it by dissolving the fleas waxy protective covering. Without this layer the flea dehydrates and dies but this process takes a little time. Keep in mind it is not a poison. Also, you should order the Nomoflea home spray as well to kill the fleas in you home. Hitting the fleas on the pet and environment works best. We also offer it at 50% in quantities to make it affordable. Also, fleas only spend about 30% of their time on the host and 70% jumping around and breeding in the environment.

  30. Just Started Using So I Don't Really Know Yet

Posted by Mark on Nov 5th 2015

I've just started using this product so I don't know how well this product is really working yet but ANYTHING is better than poisoning my mutts once a month to control their flea problems.

  31. can't get it on my cats

Posted by Unknown on Oct 26th 2015

Don't know if the stuff works or not as I don't have a single cat that I can manage to get the stuff on. I notice they show putting it on a dog…show just how you can get it on several cats.

Note from Dinovite: Do you think you could pour it on your cats then rub it through their fur?

  32. no better results than chemical repellents

Posted by David Legate on Oct 26th 2015

I have not had any better results at getting fleas off my shih tzu with NoMo Fleas than I had with the chemical topical repellents I used in the past. The redeeming factor for NoMo Fleas spray is that it is a bit lower cost than the lowest cost chemical repellents.

Note from Dinovite: It sounds like you have an ongoing flea infestation. Try also using the Nomoflea household spray and use 1 bottle per room. This will help kill the fleas in the environment. We offer a 50% discount on 6 or more to help with the cost.

  33. Non-Effective

Posted by Sandra on Oct 22nd 2015

This product only killed on contact, then lost it's effectiveness.
    Not suitable for my dogs.

  34. patience

Posted by kay on Oct 17th 2015

it took a long while but it is not poison so I didn't expect overnight success.

  35. To soon to tell.

Posted by Sandy Bendon on Oct 16th 2015

I really haven't had much success but am still trying. I've had my house sprayed twice with eco friendly chemicals and once with the harsher chemicals and still having problems. I am still going to continue with your product and see if it helps. I can't use frontline or any of those products as my dog has Valley Fever and a compromised immune system.

  36. weak

Posted by christine on Oct 8th 2015

This product didn't work for my dog. I had to put him back on the topical medicine:(

Note from Dinovite: I'm sorry it did not work for your dog. We are finding that many people are not buying enough to treat their flea infestation. We offer a 50% discount for quants of the Nomoflea to help people buy the correct amount.

  37. Like It

Posted by Unknown on Sep 28th 2015

So glad this non-chemical product is available - bought it for our 2 dogs, but they get wet too often to use this expensive product on them very often - used it on our cat, pleased with the results.

  38. It really works!

Posted by chris on Sep 24th 2015

I have been bathing the dogs a couple days before applying the Nom Flea spray and have not had a flea problem. We live in Florida and as of date find that the one application lasts up to 4 weeks during the hot summer months. I also use the Peppermint shampoo.

  39. NO Fleas / No Chemicals

Posted by Konnie on Sep 20th 2015

I am thrilled to be able to stop using the chemicals on my Bogie (welsh terrier) that I have used for many years! We have watched him carefully and so far so good. He is outside a lot as we have a fenced in yard. He also goes with us on walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Dinovite!!!!

  40. Works very well

Posted by Unknown on Sep 16th 2015

I believe this product saved my 16 year old cat's life- he was so covered with fleas even after treating with Advantage, he became anemic. I literally saturated him with NoMoFlea. I watched as the fleas tried to jump off - they couldn't move after a few seconds, and then they died. With some care, the cat recovered and is now back to bossing everyone else in the house around. I still use the monthly Advantage treatment, but feel confident in using NoMoFlea in between treatments as a way to keep Brando flea-free without keeping him indoors all summer.

  41. Like it

Posted by Eileen Gordon on Sep 16th 2015

Very good. It's seems to work very well.

  42. Fantastic!

Posted by Diane W on Sep 13th 2015

Can't say enough about this product. After. Very warm year we have had a horrible flee problem and I have tried everything. All toxic and temporary. Nomoflee is great and it works. Best part is it is nontoxic. Thanks Dinovite.

  43. I was surprised

Posted by Anita Bingamon on Aug 14th 2015

I was surprised to find out that the Nomoflea spray worked as well as it did on my cats. It even killed the lice my one cat had, and now, he is resting much easier. Thank you for making Nomoflea.

  44. not impressed

Posted by Natalie Robertson on Aug 9th 2015

Had very high hopes but it didn't even slow down the fleas on my dogs.

Note from Dinovite: We are finding that people are buying one bottle to treat multiple pet flea infestation and applying the Nomoflea too thin. Also, not getting it down to the base of the skin where the fleas are running around. I see that you only purchased an 8 oz. bottle so this may be your problem. I've seen over and over Nomoflea kill fleas dead when applied correctly. We also offer Nomoflea at up to a 50% quantity discount to encourage our customers to purchase a sufficient quantity. I'm confident Nomoflea will work great for you if you purchase enough to do the job!

  45. Flea and tick free

Posted by Unknown on Aug 8th 2015

Have been using for a couple months. Have not seen any fleas or ticks. Smell is not the greatest, but just want to be sure if fleas or ticks do get on my dog that they die. Have had no problem with the sprayer. Works great.

  46. No Worries

Posted by Randy on Aug 7th 2015

Took my dog off of potentially harsh oral flea and tick repellants due to concerns about side effects. Was questioning my decision until just one use of Nomo Flea. No More Fleas.

  47. THEE BEST...

Posted by John on Jul 31st 2015

This stuff works great and my 17 yr old cat looks so much better and healthier since using it I am truly amazed and highly recommend it for anyone. I do not soak her with it- just move the fur forward the best I can and spray thoroughly around her neck and around the base of her tail. Two cats I had died days after applying what must have been a lethal batch of that exepensive, toxic Frontline crap.
This stiff worked better, and is PURR-fectly safe!

  48. No harsh chemicals

My cats actually enjoyed the application process. I have to reapply every 2 weeks. The handle on the bottle is too small and not user friendly. It needs to be bigger.

  49. Like a refund

    Posted by T J Northam on Jul 27th 2015

This product doesn't to work on my pet. I suppose the reason is there is not a preventative? 30 minutes after spraying her down, she is still covered in fleas. Can I get a refund?

Note from Dinovite: Yes, you can return it for a refund, just call for an RMA#.

Nomoflea is not a repellent, it kills fleas by dissolving the waxy protective layer of their exoskeleton. Without this protective layer the fleas dehydrate and die. Also, if you are dealing with a full blown infestation the fleas that are not currently on your pet can jump on after spraying. The good news is these fleas will come into contact with the Nomoflea (residual) and also dehydrate and die. Keep in mind their are many times more fleas in your pets environment than are on the pet. Fleas spend the majority of their time hopping around.

  50. Didn't work - Gave it away

Sprayed Willis with when I saw him scratching and 2 hours later he was scratching miserably.

Note from Dinovite: I'm sorry you are not satisfied with Nomoflea. You could return it for a refund, just call for an RMA#.

Nomoflea does not necessarily help with the itching and it is not a repellent. Keep in mind fleas spend the majority of their time in the environment hopping around. So, it is not unusual for "new" fleas to jump on you pet after they are sprayed. The good news is these fleas will come into contact with the Nomoflea (residual) and be subject to its action, dehydrate and die.

  51. Not impressed

Posted by Unknown on Jul 26th 2015

I went ahead and spent the money on this product thinking it might help keep the fleas at bay and it did not. It killed the fleas on contact but doesn't stay on the skin or fur on my dog so fleas just jump right back on the second I take him out side. Vinegar and water is more effective then this spray and way cheaper. Don't waste your money!

Note from Dinovite: We are sorry you are not satisfied with Nomoflea. Keep in mind you can send it back for a refund so you won't be wasting your money. , Just call for an RMA#.

Yes, Nomoflea kills fleas on contact but also kills fleas with its 30 day residual effect. It is important to get the Nomoflea down to the base of their skin where the fleas are running around. It won't prevent "new" fleas from jumping on your pet but it will dissolve their waxy protective layer as they come in contact with the Nomoflea, then they dehydrate and die.

  53. 3 dogs

First day after applying I did find one small tick on 1 dog....it's been 3 weeks now and all dogs seem flea and tick free...I did have issues with sprayer ....lock is in a bad spot...just have to be aware of this...dogs smell great after spraying them and they don't seem to mind it at all....would Recomend product and will be ordering again when out.....have used oral and topical treatments previously and feel this is a better product without the "poisons" associated with them!

  54. Nomo Works!

Posted by Joel and Sherry on Jul 24th 2015

Kat (Katrina) would have nothing to do with the spray, so we resorted to "wet" bathing her. Using latex gloves we liberally spray into our palms and rub it in thoroughly. We're in our 2nd application and no flea or tick can be found on her. Thanks for offering a non-toxic product. She hated me for days following earlier applications of feline Advantix. She actually loves the attention she gets with NoMoFlea.

  55. Spray bottle is the worst

Posted by Lois Dell Sweatt, M,D. on Jul 11th 2015

I have never seen a spray nozzle like this one and I got so frustrated trying to uses It, I had to give up. The off/on button is in the worst place possible. When trying to spray Nomoflea on my dog, the button gets pushed by my hand and the spraying stops over and over again. Plus, the nozzle itself is far from being ergonomic. It is clumsy at best. I was so angry that I wanted to throw the whole thing away but I want to give the Nomoflea a chance to live up to your claims.
I am going to search for a different nozzle and, if none will fit the bottle, I will pour the Nomoflea into a different bottle.
I am curious to know if others have complained about the spray bottle.

Note from Dinovite: I'm sorry you are having trouble with the spray nozzle. Is it possible the spray nozzle is broken? I would love to see what is going on because I can't reproduce the problem here. Can you send us a short video?

  56. No fleas OR ticks!!!

We began using this about three months ago. We camp and our lab runs thru bushes. We go to the dog park and walk in the neighborhood. I keep checking him and there are NO FLEAS or TICKS! Just give this a try, I'm so thankful not to need the poisons anymore!

  57. Kills 'em DEAD DEAD DEAD!

I watched the fleas die when I sprayed them! And the fact that it has no poison in it is super!
