My Golden Retriever, Montana, was miserable for years! I had never heard of a dog having allergies to food or anything else for that matter. My poor dog was going insane from itching and biting at his skin. He gnawed down so bad it left open sores and uncontrollable shedding. He smelled horrible inside and out. He also stopped eating for about a week.
I took him to the vet and spent a considerable amount of money on antibiotics only to have it reoccur literally a week after the medicine was over.
