Small Dogs:
We consider a small dog a toy breed like Chihuahuas. Each scoop contains enough supplement to fortify 1 cup of dog food each day. There are 90 servings in each box.
Special Note:
Some small breed dogs may fall into the medium category because of their larger size and weight. If your dog is large for his breed, overweight or is in-between small and medium then purchase the 90 day supply for a "Medium Dog". You will see better results feeding a "little more" than "not enough".

To help limit the chance of digestive upset gradually increase the serving using the method below. Rapid changes or additions to diet can cause digestive issues.
- Day 1 start with 1/4 serving
- Day 4 increase to 1/2 serving

Daily Serving:
Feed one scoop of supplement per day. If you feed your dog twice per day then feed 1/2 scoop with each meal. Each small dog scoop contains about 8 gm.
We recommend mixing a little water with your dog's food so that the supplement will stick to it. For taste and added Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids mix in a little LickOchops™ or SuprOmega® liquid supplement. Your dog will love it.
Special Note:
If your dog is in extremely poor condition due to feeding a nutrient deficient diet you can work up to feeding 2 scoops per day. After you are satisfied with your dog's condition resume feeding one scoop per day to help support your dog's good health.
This box will last 45 days if you are feeding two scoops per day.
Serving suggestions from Happy Dinovite Dog owners:
- Add Dinovite directly to your dog's food.
- Add Dinovite to a small amount of canned meat, canned tuna or canned dog food.
- Mix Dinovite and LickOchops or SuprOmega together and feed in a separate bowl.
- Mix Dinovite with plain yogurt and feed off of a spoon.
- Mix Dinovite with meat and feed with your dog's food or separately.
The Pinch Method:
Start by adding a pinch of Dinovite to the bottom of the bowl. Add your dog's food on top. Don't mix or dampen. Let your dog eat down to the pinch daily until he's licking it off the bottom of the bowl. At this point, you can begin to slowly increase the amount you add to his food.
NOTE: Add literally a tiny pinch. Dogs have great noses and it takes just a small amount for them to smell it.
Patience is a virtue:
In addition to some of the serving ideas above, patiently allow your dog time to check out the Dinovite for Dogs at his or her own pace. In a small dish beside your dog's food and water bowl, add 1/4 scoop of Dinovite for Dogs. As your dog makes trips to the food and water bowl, he will check out the Dinovite for Dogs. In time your dog will categorize the Dinovite for Dogs as just another part of the menu.
